I had the unfortunate experience of ordering here (Order Number 140 on 1st September 2023) , that left much to be desired in terms of both service and professionalism. I had placed a take-away order online, with the expectation of receiving it promptly at the designated collection time. However, this restaurant fell short of even the most basic standards of customer service.
To begin with, my order was not ready when I arrived at the restaurant at the specified time. I was left waiting for an exasperating 40 minutes, a delay that was entirely unacceptable and left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced.
What truly exacerbated the situation was the demeanor of the restaurant staff. Rather than displaying the courtesy and professionalism one would expect, they exhibited rudeness and disrespect. When I inquired about the status of my order, the person with glasses attending to me appeared disinterested and dismissive, barely offering any assistance. Their nonchalant attitude, characterized by nothing more than a series of head shakes in response to my questions, was indicative of a complete lack of commitment to serving customers with the respect and attention they deserve.
Adding insult to injury, when my order was finally prepared, there was no effort made to inform me. It was only when I personally approached the counter and raised the issue that the staff responded, and their reply was nothing short of sarcastic and condescending. A mere "Thank you" was their retort, offered without any genuine concern or willingness to understand the nature of the problem. To make matters worse, they did not inquire about the specific issues I had encountered, demonstrating a severe deficit in customer engagement.
In conclusion, my experience at this restaurant was a glaring disappointment. The failure to have my order ready on time, coupled with the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of the staff, left a lasting negative impression. It is disheartening to encounter such a lack of regard for customers and their concerns. I sincerely hope that the management of this establishment takes steps to rectify these issues and improve their overall service quality to avoid driving away patrons seeking a positive dining experience.

Read moreI finally went to Gungahlin to try Wok It Up. I always passed by the store everytime I went to Gungahlin but end up always opt for other restaurant. My first impression of coming inside the restaurant: What a mess? It was lunch time on weekends and the food counter display look like it's 15 minutes to closing time?
I started to doubt my choice choosing Wok It Up for my special Sunday lunch. But I still end up going to the counter anyways. The food picture on the menu looks great tho, it's just the restaurant vibe and the counter and the staff is bringing the supposed to be very nice restaurant and food down by a lot.
I order by what is recommended by the cashier staff. But oh I swear to God, I was totally disappointed with the respond and service I got. I have work for so many years in the hospitality industry and have manage different kind of restaurant from takeaway to fine dining but what I really cannot tolerate is how staff are reacting to their customers. It would be understandable if a customer asking rudely or not showing respect but it's a different story when the one who ask is asking you nicely. I was asking her nicely for which one is popular and is there any combo with the meal and what drinks is included. But she answer not in a kindly manner and I feel like I'm the one who have to ask everything instead of she explaining or try to upsell. If you got the job, please do it right. Not everyone are able to get the same opportunity as you, there is so many people out there looking for job that can shelter them. So I would suggest that you appreciate your job and show some basic respect to people who will be interacting with you during your work hours.
Despite the food being delicious and I do tempted to try other food on the menus next time, I would probably not going to come back to this branch due to its very low standard of customer service. Hopefully they are able to improve their customer service more...

Not sure why no one is mentioning the hygiene of this place. Food is tasty but the place is unhygienic. Sauce spots everywhere. The staff who was working in the kitchen came to take my order and was using his bare hands to tap on the screen. The screen had multiple visible white finger prints because the staffs clearly do not think they need to wipe or wash their hands after handling ingredients in the kitchen. The staff that took my order then proceeded to handle the food in the kitchen with out washing his hands. You need to have someone at the front only taking orders and not expect your kitchen staff to do everything. Looked very distracting and stressful on the staffs with delivery guys dropping by every 3 mins, customer wanting to order and woking it up in the kitchen. What in the multitasking multitask I just witnessed. No wonder so many people are complaining about the poor attitude of the staffs. They are expected to be multitasking lords....
