One of my friends referred me to this restaurant. First of all, I would like to thank the food and environment. It's really good. I would have been giving five-star, however, one issue made the whole experience unsatisfactory. On the evening of 5th Dec, three people from my family dined in the restaurant, ordered $143 food. A young Sinaporean waiter served us. My wife and my son ordered roast meat and other dishes. I told the waiter that I was a vegan, and ordered "Japchae(v)" on the menu, as it was marked with "vegan" on it. I also ordered Bibimbap. Knowing I am a vegan, the waiter explained to me about the ingredients of the two dishes. I told him that I could eat egg and milk. However, when the Japchae(v) was served, I found there was beef inside. I requested to change the dish, but the waiter refused, saying that the order was already placed and unable to cancel. He also blamed me for not being able to understand his English, not being able to catch his "beef", "meat" or "pork" words. I told him that the dish was vegan on the menu, and I had repeated several times to him that I was a vegan. Even after my explanation, the waiter still insisted it was my fault, refusing to cancel the dish, only willing to give me two drinks for the mistake. Actually, I don't really care about being served a wrong dish. My wife and my son could have the dish, but what annoyed me was his attitude, insisting it was my mistake. I even told him that if he was afraid of his boss scolding him that made him unwilling to cancel the order, I could understand. However he still insisted it was my fault, even on the menu it was vegan, even after I repeated several times that I was a vegan. He blamed me for not being able to understand his "beef", "pork" and "meat", although I have been living in Canberra for more than 10 years. That made my reason to give one-star. I hope the manager can understand. In all, the food is good, and I would appreciate it.

BEWARE !! DONOT PRESS THE CALL BELL. What an absolute worst experience of dine in.There was this fellow Nepalese guy (long hair, earrings) who served us. There were only 2 staffs on the floor including the guy on a Sunday evening. We booked a table for 8 people, 2 of our friends were running late so we decided to order more food once they join us( we even informed the guy, that we will be ordering more food once our friends join us). Everything was going well, we pressed the first call bell after our 2 other friends came (it was the first bell we pressed because earlier they came to take our order and we didn’t need to call them),we decided to add something more so we pressed the bell again. This time the guy comes and yells at us saying “WHY ARE YOU GUYS PRESSING THE BELL SO OFTEN? WHY CAN’T YOU ORDER AT ONCE??!!” We were so stunned to speak, he was so rude! I have never in my life seen such a horrible human being with no courtesy/ respect at all. He even didn’t apologise, my sister told that “you are being rude to us” he just replied I DON’T CARE !! if you don’t like the job, QUIT YOUR JOB. People go to the restaurant to have good food & good time. I was enjoying my meal and he totally ruined the atmosphere. It’s a shame a fellow Nepalese treating us this way, Would you have behaved the same way with any other nationalities? I don’t think so. Please learn to respect the customers, no matter what nationality they are, where they come from and how they appear. The food was good but it tasted bland after your behaviour 👎 !! Please change your attitude because it’s taking you nowhere.

Cute restaurant 😍with panda plushies🐼 and totoro figurines everywhere. Good value for money, this restaurant is not high end but definitely delivers. It's a gas BBQ but still has 2 lumps of ?coal in it. The food cooks very quickly and it would have been better if they showed us how to regulate the temperature. Although there are no exhaust fans, the area is well ventilated and in fact, less smoky than other coal places. ( Eg. Hangari) Prawn entree could have been cooked a bit more. BBQ meats are not marinated. The pork jowl and belly were fatty and full of flavour - goes really well with fermented sides and the onions in vinegar to cut through the fat. Beef ribs had great flavour. Ox tongue frozen & just so so. Generous serves. Spicy KFC not for the faint hearted and you have been warned. Good service, but the wait staff need more finesse. For example, our wooden boards were all cleared as soon as we placed all the meat on the BBQ. But this left us without somewhere to rest the meat on after cooking, or to stop it from overcooking or burning on the BBQ. Usually in most Korean restaurants, the wooden board is left behind. Then some waiter comes over to cut the meat with the controlled aggression of a serial killer. This is how you know this is not an authentic Korean place - there's no-one to attack the meat with scissors here. Interesting playlist, it's rap/trap with the occasional Nepalese song thrown in.
