We used to order Domino's pizza every Friday and about a month ago for a change we thought to try pizza hut Gungahlin and I must say we have been very pleasantly surprised and thoroughly impressed ever since. From the very first bite, Pizza Hut won us over with its rich flavors, generous toppings, and perfectly baked crust. The variety on the menu is fantastic whether we are craving a classic Kids favourite cheese pizza, a loaded super supreme, or something a little more adventurous like the Americano pizza, there’s always something to satisfy. What really stood out was the exemplary customer service and consistency of their products. Every order at the time of pick-up is hot, fresh, and exactly as expected. Their staff member Priya and her colleague (sorry the name escapes my memory) are always smiling and ready to go above and beyond to help accommodate e.g. adding extra chilli flakes at the last minute. Even the sides especially crispy chicken wings, and salted caramel ice-cream have become part of our Friday tradition now. We always order through app as the ordering process is smooth, user-friendly, and reliable. Its clear that Pizza Hut and their staff takes pride in both their food and their service. Needless to say we have officially made the switch and are ordering pizza more than we should 😂🤣. Friday nights are now Pizza Hut nights in our family. Read moreOrdered a pizza for delivery online. Once the order was confirmed it estimated 1.5 hours for delivery. I tried to call the store 3 times to cancel the order or ask for a time frame if I picked it up. Each time store could not be contacted. When I went to the store in person to advise them not to worry they apologised as they were busy. No big deal. However when i asked for a refund i was told that they were unable to do so as their system required them to wait until the next day to process a refund, which would take 5 business days "if it worked".
I questioned this and was told it was just policy because the money had to land in the owner's account before they would refund my money and that they were using a "virtual" payment system. Eventually after trying unsuccessfully to explain this "policy" in any way that made sense, they refunded me in cash (short by 75c, which I had to ask for). There were a total of five staff in the shop. Eight minutes later, the guy I ordered the pizza from gave me the pizza which was in the holding bay next to the fridge where I was standing for eight minutes.
