The Coffee Club Café - Gungahlin — Restaurant in District of Gungahlin

Edit - from 4 stars, I think I'll come down to one. I stay in the area so am a regular customer both in-store and order-in. So I recently went in store and asked for feta instead of halloumi for the brekkie bruschetta (because they always serve their halloumi deep fried). They charged me extra for feta and then forgot to give me the feta - just gave me the bruschetta with no cheese. Then, I ordered the roasted sweet potato bowl on uber eats, took ages for my order to come and when it finally arrived, they had sent me the brekkie bowl instead... Plus, their coffee has also become hit and miss. Management has become poor, I won't be going anymore. When they get the food right, it is so delicious and worth the money. I got the classic burger on my recent visit and it was so flavorful and well made! However, taking one star off for inconsistency. Some days food takes a really long time to come. On other days, they serve halloumi deep fried (even when other coffee clubs don't and on their menu it says grilled halloumi). Still a place I frequent for mostly decent meals...

I went to coffee club today as this would be my second time coming to this cafe. I ordered my food and 35 minutes later I was still waiting for my food. I soon realised they were taking out food to people who had ordered after me and their excuse was ‘it’s because they ordered calamari’ which I said wasn’t acceptable and was an unprofessional answer to why my simple bacon and eggs took 35 minutes. I received my food with dry eggs, and butter on a little bit of the edges on my toast which I asked about also why I was receiving food like that. I had just lost my appetite with how long this service took and the lack of care the staff and manager gave towards me and my partner. They offered me a refund for 1 of the meals and 2 drink vouchers. The staff were appalling and were talking about my situation behind my back and I could clearly see them. This morning my family and I, seven of us went to the Coffee Club Gungahlin for brunch on the 28th February, 2021. We have ordered 7 dishes and 7 drinks at 11:30am.

Every dishes and drinks ,came except the kids meal which is the kids size Avo toast with hash brown. One of the waiters has been told the issue and he has informed the kitchen about it. However, the kids meal has still not arrived for 45 minutes wait since we order when the rest of the table already finished their meal.

We didn’t have a choice but to request a refund for the kids meal. The front-of-house staff named Koby has been informed the problem and he talked to his manager named Katrina. Katrina told us the meal has been sent out and her attitude was unfriendly. It was not until one of my family member came to the counter to confirm that the meal wasn’t received and that I expressed my disappointment, she finally apologized.
