So it’s been one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in the Gungahlin region for almost 4 years, I’m a big Chinese food fan.
Today I paid $27 (approx), and I got my usual go-to. Chicken Chow Mein and a serving of Steamed Dim Sims. Dim Sims were ..okay’ish I guess, however the Chow Mein? Well... usually it comes with chicken, broccoli, carrot, buk choy and cauliflower. Today, all I got was a WHOLE onion, and half a mushroom and some chicken.
It’s never had onion in it before, they usually don’t even put mushrooms in. Now I’m fine with a little onion and a bit of mushroom, but they didn’t put ANYTHING else in this, other than chicken. It is quite literally, a whole onion Chow Mein. I’m not a fan of onion, and they could’ve told me if they were running low on ingredients, however it’s a Wednesday at 6:30PM and all I got was onion. And there’s a Coles right next door. There is no excuse for this, this is pathetic and absolutely despicably lazy. They obviously have some sort of cost saving or laziness policy.
I won’t be coming back, especially when there is high quality, hand-made Chinese noodles and dishes available for around the same price bracket that includes fresh ingredients across the road and numerous fabulous Thai places.
I can’t express this enough, if I could upload a picture of the onion I’ve picked out, you would see literally a whole onion has been placed in my dish and absolutely no other vegetable. I’m disgusted. After four years of eating there food I didn’t expect such an awful experience would ever come but for $27 I’ll eat a McDonalds feast rather than face this onion invasion again.
Sorry guys, but you’ve lost me, and I know you know me as a consistent and constant regular, but this just goes to show you can’t let your game slip even just for one little me that comes along because today was...

The food was disgusting. I choked on the dry, burnt and flavourless house special fried rice. Why pay for this food when you can just eat dirt instead and maybe you might get some flavour if you catch a grub?
The honey chicken was almost as dry as the fried rice which in itself is quite the accomplishment but probably not the one you want.
Our sweet and sour pork was burnt and was much tougher than expected.
The burnt dumplings were the best part of this meal because at least the dog was able to enjoy them so there's that.
Normally I wouldn't go as far as to post such a negative review but I contacted the restaurant to try and get a resolution and they said they were unable to do anything because I ordered through easi and to try calling them.
I called the app and they said e-mail I pictures so I did email pictures of the burnt food and the response I got was to contact...
