So it’s been one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in the Gungahlin region for almost 4 years, I’m a big Chinese food fan.

Today I paid $27 (approx), and I got my usual go-to. Chicken Chow Mein and a serving of Steamed Dim Sims. Dim Sims were ..okay’ish I guess, however the Chow Mein? Well... usually it comes with chicken, broccoli, carrot, buk choy and cauliflower. Today, all I got was a WHOLE onion, and half a mushroom and some chicken.

It’s never had onion in it before, they usually don’t even put mushrooms in. Now I’m fine with a little onion and a bit of mushroom, but they didn’t put ANYTHING else in this, other than chicken. It is quite literally, a whole onion Chow Mein. I’m not a fan of onion, and they could’ve told me if they were running low on ingredients, however it’s a Wednesday at 6:30PM and all I got was onion. And there’s a Coles right next door. There is no excuse for this, this is pathetic and absolutely despicably lazy. They obviously have some sort of cost saving or laziness policy.

I won’t be coming back, especially when there is high quality, hand-made Chinese noodles and dishes available for around the same price bracket that includes fresh ingredients across the road and numerous fabulous Thai places.

I can’t express this enough, if I could upload a picture of the onion I’ve picked out, you would see literally a whole onion has been placed in my dish and absolutely no other vegetable. I’m disgusted. After four years of eating there food I didn’t expect such an awful experience would ever come but for $27 I’ll eat a McDonalds feast rather than face this onion invasion again.

Sorry guys, but you’ve lost me, and I know you know me as a consistent and constant regular, but this just goes to show you can’t let your game slip even just for one little me that comes along because today was...

Definitely the worst place I ordered a dish call steam prawn and pork dumpling 🥟 bfor my 2 years old son and a bowl of wontons soup Both of it tasted like off food , i cant even eat and have to sprit it out, thought it would be how it’s taste but we always ordered dumplings when ever we come in a Chinese restaurant so definitely we know how it should taste I call the waitress lady and said the food is not right, we need to swap. But she just take the dish back and turn away , not even sorry , nit even explain anything She tried to ignore us and pretending busy serving others table The worst was my son he got diarrhea 10 mins after eating some noodle that we ordered I come up to counter and aks to speak, I totally got IGNORED, after few conversations THE OWNET swear at me “ fukcken you” we endup having police 🚔 come in . I dont have to pay for the taste off dumplings but that’s not what’s I intended todo They cant serve the bad food and if there’s any problems then just said “ not charge for that” i tried to take this further as they been so so rude I call the public health protection department I got my son to GJ to test his diarrhea I will see how...

Ordered through Easi. I have never had a worse experience with a restaurant or ordering service.

The food was disgusting. I choked on the dry, burnt and flavourless house special fried rice. Why pay for this food when you can just eat dirt instead and maybe you might get some flavour if you catch a grub?

The honey chicken was almost as dry as the fried rice which in itself is quite the accomplishment but probably not the one you want.

Our sweet and sour pork was burnt and was much tougher than expected.

The burnt dumplings were the best part of this meal because at least the dog was able to enjoy them so there's that.

Normally I wouldn't go as far as to post such a negative review but I contacted the restaurant to try and get a resolution and they said they were unable to do anything because I ordered through easi and to try calling them.

I called the app and they said e-mail I pictures so I did email pictures of the burnt food and the response I got was to contact...

We ordered garlic king prawns, fried rice, spicy wonton, pork and vegetable dumplings and Jade xiao long bao from this restaurant via Uber Eats. The rice and garlic king prawns were full of flavour and delicious and was by far the highlight of the meal. The spicy wonton wasn't quite spicy enough and a didn't come with soup as I had anticipated. It tasted OK but I've had better wonton elsewhere. I had thought xiao long bao was meant to be soup dumplings but I couldn't taste any soup in it. The pork and vegetable dumplings were OK but again I've had better elsewhere. I'd say a bit overpriced for Gungahlin standards but didn't quite justify the price tag with the quality of food delivered. 3.8 average rating looks about right. Regards @fooderarri

I am going to start with the negative first (you are probably thinking "but you rated them 5 stars, what negatives could there be?") Answer....Put a sign out front (or something) and let people know you are open. Until you get to the door, you are not sure. But once you get inside, the food and the service is amazing. Super fresh, super tasty, and super worth going back for a second go around. Shallot Pancake, Steamed Dim Sim's ... Sizzling Beef, Jade Fried Rice, Combination omelet, Salt and Spicy Chicken and take-away containers for all the stuff you couldn't eat because your eyes were too big for your stomach. lol Well worth the visit. (it was a quiet'ish Thursday night we went).

I would steer clear of this place. First of all, the shallot pancakes are some strange dry pastry, and the inside wasn’t even cooked. They also just piled in shallots and ginger in large chucks. Now to the dumplings. The xiao long bao was ok, and so to the pork and chive, other than the wrapper was too thick. But the beef dumplings were inedible… literally. The wrapper was unbearably thick and the meat was way too chewy on my first one. The other ones though, were raw as anything. (Image attached). The staff did not think they were at the start, but we asked as we were paying and to give them some credit: they did waive the bill for them. Would not recommend.
