I called 20 mins after the meal was due to be delivered (which was almost 2 hours after the order was placed) and was told that it had not left the restaurant and would be another 25-30 mins. I was insultingly told I could pick it up if I wanted to, which I would have done in the first place if I was able. This is almost identical to what happened last time I ordered from them a couple of years ago.
The meal was eventually delivered 45 mins late and over 2 hrs after the order was placed. The samosa was crisp, but the bhaji were soggy and inedible. The main meals (butter chicken and a korma) were tasty, but completely cold and the sauces were too thin.

We chose this restaurant mainly because they stayed open until 10pm where many other restaurants in the area close at 9:30. Our 1st impression was that this might just be a take-away place with a few tables, but we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived late and were thinking that we had to finish by 10pm, but other people arrived even later than us and the restaurant was very accommodating and didn't make us feel rushed at all. Punjabi Hut is our favourite Indian restaurant. We especially love their samosa and kashmiri naan. We decided to host my partners 50th birthday for 20 people there this weekend and they were so wonderful! We were not an easy party with everyone wanting different dishes and heat levels, but the staff did a fantastic job catering to us and making sure everyone had what they ordered, and enough of everything. They even helped us serve the birthday cake we had brought with us at the end. We were delighted with both the delicious food and attentive service.
