Dining at Ureshii Japanese is not just a meal, but an experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a lively atmosphere that was unexpectedly vibrant for a Sunday evening - a testament to its popularity.

The star dishes of the evening were the Kingfish Carpaccio and Tuna Sashimi. Each bite melted in my mouth, revealing layers of perfectly balanced flavors. The food wasn't just a treat for the palate, but also a feast for the eyes, presented immaculately - truly art on a plate.

Exceptional service added to the overall experience. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and prompt, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Our orders were delivered reasonably fast, without compromising on the quality or presentation of the dishes.

While the food is not cheap, it's definitely worth it for the quality you receive. Whether you're catching up with friends, planning a special night with your partner, organizing a work event, or simply dining solo, Ureshii Japanese sets the perfect scene.

To round off the meal, I indulged in a refreshing soda and a Mango Mochi dessert, both of which were delightful. The restaurant's cleanliness and well-maintained facilities further enhanced the dining experience.

It's the combination of these elements - the food, the service, and the ambiance - that will undoubtedly draw me back to Ureshii Japanese. An absolute gem worth discovering for anyone seeking a remarkable...

First time at Ureshii following recommendations and we were not disappointed. Ureshii means "I'm Happy" and we certainly were. The fresh Nigiri and Kingfish Carpaccio were absolutely outstanding! So fresh and tasty, what a wonderful way to kick off our meal. I particularly loved the spice edamame as a little filler between courses. The Beef Udon was to die for, I really enjoyed the authentic flavours unapologetic portions and overall deliciousness of this dish. Lastly, we tried the Chicken Katsu Curry dish, presented beautifully, crisp outside, juicy inside with a mild curry and yummy rice. I probably wouldn't order again, but it was good, just slightly bland for my own personal taste preferences. I washed this all down with the Japanese Plum Wine....wait until the ice starts to melt, it just continues to get more delicious. Overall we will 200% be back, it's local for us, the service was so prompt and helpful, even the chef was open to feedback. Only small comment was the restaurant was cold. Everytime the door opened the freezing wind blasted us all, maybe an inner porch to prevent this would help your customers enjoy their experience even more. Great...

I would give this a 4.5 stars!

The food I’ve tasted is: Beef Teriyaki Unagi Don Soft Shell Crab Tempura 15 Nigiri (Chef’s Selection) —— Beef Teriyaki: The rice is done really well! The beef itself is strong in flavour and paired very well with salad (due to it being a bit acidic for palette cleanser).

Unagi Don: Unagi is one of my favourites! The Eel is soft and enriched in flavour.

Soft Shell Crab Tempura: It comes with Enoki Tempura as well! Mayo is light and there’s a slight sweet sauce with it too.

15 Nigiri Chef’s Selection: Salmon is a bit fatty, which I enjoyed very much. The 2nd row (don’t know the fish name) has this fruity surprise hidden in the rice and it’s paired really well with the fish. Rice has enough vinegar and quality remains the same equally. —— I enjoyed this experience! They’re a bit understaffed when we were there, so there’s a bit of a waiting time which we can understand. The staffs are very kind to us to offer free matcha ice cream: delicious and not too sweet so you can...
