My partner and I visited here for Valentines Day. We got the set menu and enjoyed the entire experience. The staff were welcoming and accommodating (we don't eat lamb so they substituted it to samosas without any hesitation). The food arrived promptly and tasted incredible. The entrees came with a special homemade sauce that was fresh and tasty. The butter chicken was creamy and paired well with the garlic naan, which was incredibly soft and tasty by itself (rice was also served). The prawns were fresh and well cooked, the vegetable curry crunchy and full of flavour. I do not have a sweet tooth but the kulfi falooda was an amazing end to the menu! The only bad thing is, is that it's all the way in woden, gungalin would have been great 😅 Overall a great experience, highly recommended, will visit again. 🙂

First time and it was really very good. Loves the old charm of this place, photos and decor made it feel warm and authentic. Was lovely to have an old Bollywood movies playing on the tv as well! The staff were super attentive from the moment we entered and right through service, can’t fault them, most places don’t offer that level of friendly professional service now. The food was fresh and flavourful, good portions and didn’t have to wait too long. Certainly would visit again and recommend

It was our first time at the Indian Affair Restaurant, first thing i noticed was the cosy feel of the restaurant with the sloped ceiling and exposed beams. We had dinner there, loved it, very nice Indian cuisine, I tried the Goan fish curry, the kids and the wife had butter chicken, and the Bombay aloo With goat meat, we all loved our meals, Surinder the owner was very welcoming and made us feel at home.

Decided to go dine in to celebrate 25 years of Indian Affair. It did not disappoint. I have been dining here for 20 years - both dine in and takeaway. The food, quality, service and atmosphere is as good as I remember. The Butter Chicken is still the best I have ever had. We had the Tasting Plate for 2. Recommend this for anyone looking to try a bit of everything. The kitchen were wonderful catering to my young children - ensuring the curries they ordered (Butter Chicken and Aloo Beef) were mild and not too spicy for them. First time visit for my young children and they loved it! The staff and Surinder were so accommodating and friendly engaging in conversation with them, even showing them around the restaurant and a quick visit to the kitchen to meet the chef. They loved it so much they asked if they could come back for dinner tomorrow night! 😂 A memorable experience for my family. Well done Surinder...

We stumbled upon this place for the first time quite late on a Monday evening and we were greeted like old friends.

The restaurant had two large groups in it and a couple of smaller tables. The staff were very accommodating in allowing us to find a quiet table for two our of the way. The layout lends itself to groups, couples and even solitary diners.

The thing that really captured our hearts before the food arrived was the friendliness of the staff.

We ordered two entrees and a main with mango lassis. The Tikka was a delight and the prawn pakoras were quite unique and perfectly composed.

Just when we thought things couldn't get better the main arrived. I have eaten Goan Fish Curry in fine establishments, but I can't say I've eaten any better.

This place deserves all of the plaudits it receives. I love it and...

Worst experience ever

Just walked in surprised that they have lunch for $10/- a curry and rice

I ordered Butter Chicken.

The lady said they don't accept EFTPOS lessthan $10/-

I said I will withdraw cahs and come.

When i comeback with the cash, that's when they order and wait another 10 minutes.

The lady at the counter asking me whether I can bring in more customers for her....

I don't work for them even if they pay me

The takeaway arrived. She gave me lot of pamphlets to put them in my office noticeboards.

I went to the office and opened the container and it had just 3 small pieces of chicken and a lot of watery gravy and rice.

Tasted it---- it was hell. I think the chicken was cooked 3 days before.

Chucked in the bin along with their phamplets.

I never recommend them to anyone. Not even my...
