Bought a saigon pork roll, a scroll, bundaberg ginger beer and a jam donut, the total price was $21 dollars. The pork roll was very dried and lots of chillies which made it unbearable to eat. The pastries, which would not call pastries were probably made a few days ago not fresh at all. I would not return to this bakery again. I would not rate this at all. To top it off, service was not service it was rude and very abrupt. Why are these businesses still running???? Isn't there a status or a department that needs to check these dodgy businesses to make sure they are providing service and food to a certain standard. Read moreNothing beats fresh, hot bread out of the oven. This is a busy but friendly family bakery, and I've been visiting for 18 years so our kids have grown up together. It means a lot to support local small business.
Wholemeal and sourdough loaves are my family's favourite. There is also a good selection of pies, sausage rolls and sweet baked goods as an incentive to keep going in the weekly shopping.
One small complaint was that wholemeal loaves run out early. Staff immediately arranged a weekly special order for me, and my problem is solved....
