The Def Chef — Restaurant in Dubbo

The Cook/Chef was so rude and abrupt. I asked if I can have avocado on toast with a few other extras and she said no. When I asked why she said "cause i don't know what to charge you" and walked away back into the kitchen. No effort was made to accommodate me at all. I was so shocked at how rude and abrupt she was. The poor young girl at the counter seemed embarrassed at the cooks behaviour and attitude. This was obviously not the cooks business as she definitely did not care. I ended up ordering nothing but my husband had ordered eggs on toast and it was truly just 2 poached eggs on standard sliced bread that could be made at home. Presentation was poor and food was bland and tasteless. The business owner needs to be aware that this Cook is driving people away and is damaging their business. Now I know why they were dead quiet. Never going back and I suggest to anyone..if you want a nice brekky then...

The def chef has been our go to Cafe for breakfast when travelling through Dubbo. Since we first came the yummy orange yolks are gone (now pale yellow), no longer perfectly cooked, those beautiful little fried capers on the eggs are gone too. Bought two coffees, a piccolo and cappuccino and a fresh out of the oven muffin this morning from this lovely little cafe, to set us up for our journey today.
