I have never needed to go to the extent of writing a review before EVER...due to visiting family from Dubbo interstate from QLD I was quiet proud of what was my home town until an experience at West Dubbo Mcdonalds has me frustrated,Waiting longer than the norm at 10.15pm on a Thursday night through drive through with 3 cars ahead and 4 behind wedged waiting 20 mins for a bigmac burger,heading to the payment counter only then wondering what to do as the staff member previously accepting money for an order was absent,the car ahead collected what was 2 frozon drinks and I was left with no option really except to bypass the first paying window due to no staff, with frustrated customers in cars behind probably annoyed at there extended wait and seeing the car ahead had vacated and nearing closer to the back of my car fearing of being hit I place my money on the passangers seat and headed to collection window to be greated by different staff handing me my "cold" burger and nodding me to move along I mistakenly forgot to pay and would be more than happy to pay but after the manner in which a staff member ran out the door yelling and running towards my car to stop as I forgotton to pay,I stopped half exited asked why there was so much delay in which the staff member passed blame on needing to sort the order in car in front I then asked if he the staff member had change for my order in which he replied he didn't,I asked what I should do ,in which he replied he would run the change out , hesitant to hand over the money as I didn't wanna be hit up the bum with the car behind,I did the rightful thing and paid for my order waiting on his return with he nor any other staff returning and beeping cars up my Bum,What happened to common decency?Im appalled at the lack of respect,unproffessional manner in West Dubbo Mcdonalds approach to customer service and time management,I can suck it up and move on but I cant help but feel ashamed,I attended a funeral today with many many of my family members from near and far,this locations is where many were meeting tomorrow morning before there journeys home and I even recommend stopping at this particular store due to its location convenience,not anymore I have contacted family members and this location will be now moved,they 2 will also let there friends and family know.Dubbo look at the quality of people hired for these jobs ,quality service will always give you the positive return of customers needed,clearly an extreme amount of quality training is needed in this particular store,use my change you failed to return as a donation to training in fast...
Read moreI decided to go in instead of drive through...big mistake, I stood at the cafe counter for about 8 minutes, I did hear the manager say someone needed to serve me but all that happened was a girl rushed through the counter twice, the first time saying they wont be long. She did come back and despite my saying I want a ham and cheese toastie paused while she entered it and then said I will have a regular chai, full cream milk no sugar nope apparently that is too difficult....she asked what sort of drink I wanted what size what type of milk and yep did I want sugar 😕😕 she then said I will have to get someone who works in the cafe to do my order. A good 4 minutes later a male walked up to the counter, I said dont hold your breath I have been here over 10 minutes and all they have done is take my order, but low and behold a woman turned up and served him,she obviously knew him as she used his name, she looked at me twice and looked at the screen twice which showed his order and mine...I was not amused when he waa served first and to make it worse she was about to walk away when I said excuse me what about my order....she said oh was yours a chai, I said yes and a toasty....she stopped and said oh you want a toastie as if thats what the order was....so I said AGAIN I want a regular chai blah blah and a toastie so after about 18 minutes waiting time I got my order.....yes there were a few there and in drive through was it really busy NO. If your going to hire staff then hire staff who listen and if they look at someone who is obviously looking at that counter and they see two orders on the screen but have only taken 1 order have someone bright enough to think hmmmm I wonder if that other order belongs to that person looking at me. It is the worst service I have ever had at the Macdonalds and in the end it was another woman who served...
Read moreBefore school I decided to get a McFrappè I walked into the store, barley anyone inside. I walked over to the Cafe section and stood behind one of the counters that I assumed was the cashier... it wasn’t. After standing there for 5mins watching the staff go around making coffees for drive through, not one of them thought that it’d be a good idea to ask me to move down and take my order
I decided to use one of the self order machines, ordering my Frappè about 10mins after i waited for someone to ask me what I wanted. After waiting around some more, someone finally made my Frappè, giving it to me without a glance nor a smile.
At school I took the lid off me Frappè and ate some of the whipped cream (quite yummy with the chocolate sauce) and there seemed to keep going... that’s when I realised HALF WAS FILLED WITH WHIPPED CREAM
