I’ve been there couple of time and got disappointed with service. As I am vegetarian I ordered Tomyum and made sure that it doesn’t contain seafood, they took my order and gave me a soup which smelled like shrimp, when asked waitress told me that tomyum paste had seafood in it and was literally yelling at me to make sure to say vegan when I order. Well I am not vegan and being vegetarian clearly states that I don’t eat meat or fish. That could be confusion but I had to pay for that as well as the next order I made. She literally kept coming back and shouted how should I order my food. I am vegetarian since past 7 years, have explored so many Asian restaurants around Sydney and even in Dubbo but never had such experience. Except for once when they put egg and replaced my food for free. Keeping vegetarian vegan confusion aside, I had one of the worst customer service experience, ruined my evening and never...
Read moreI always went here on my way thru Dubbo . ..but last night I was disappointed. Although the meals were OK there was no hint of fresh Thai herbs like coriander. Basil etc. The plates were always presented well .but now they are just served on a plate with no garnish. The staff at table service were unfriendly they never smiled..the head lady was good and talkative. The drinks were served nice and cold. Now for the steamed rice ...it was a gluggy mess- served from the same large bowl for every customer. I returned mine and got the same back again. It was like mashed potato it just stuck together in big lumps. This restaurant used to be one of the best in Dubbo .and was nearly full all the time.. last night it would of been only 40,% full.. that's how much it's dropped off. The prices were reasonable. Parking good. Sorry Rose garden ... But you need to go back to the way you...
Read moreWe had dinner here on our last night in Dubbo.
We ordered crying tiger and Thai Fish cake for Entree. For mains we had combination Pad Thai, Rose Gai (Fish fillet). For dessert we had deep fried icecream and fresh mango with coconut sticky rice.
The entree were delicious. I really enjoyed the crying tiger. The fish cake was juicy and fragrant. Couldn't go wrong there.
The mains was slightly average. I initially ordered Rose Gai with chicken, but we got Fish fillet instead. We didn't return it as I was already hungry. It turned out delicious!
Combination Pad Thai was average. I think it was a bit on the wet side rather that the dry side. The bean sprouts and spring onion was cooked in, so was no longer crisp, also not enough nuts.
I enjoyed the mango sticky rice, but my partner did not really enjoy his...
