Unfortunately we had such a bad experience with the bartender. He had an attitude as soon as we walked in to buy our first cocktail an espresso martini. He told us that "just a little tip, don't walk into a bar and have the first drink you buy be an espresso". He said that people who did this were c** but then backtracked and said "not saying that you guys are". This would have been fine if he were joking however there was so much attitude behind this comment. I don't see the issue with ordering now rather than later. One of the other members in our group didn't want to order one from him as she was too nervous to ask after his reaction. A couple of guys in our group went up to order beers from him after, trying to lighten the mood, they asked what the female bartender was giving her customers as they had never seen that drink before, however he proceeded to have an attitude and gave them nothing, he shrugged it off and said "I don't know". I understand that it must be annoying when a group walks in and orders an around of cocktails however we are paying customers. I also appreciate that it would be busy on a long weekend and he must be sick of tourists but we did come in before the 'rush' and we were no where near as intoxicated as some groups that followed. Just disappointed considering this night had a $10 entry fee for live Beatles covers, and this completely ruined...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an incredibly frustrating experience at Har Bar and honestly, Iām still shocked by how we were treated. My friend had just flown 20 hours to visit me in Australia, and we were excited to unwind at a local bar. We arrived at 10:04 PM, just four minutes after their supposed cutoff for entry. Instead of a warm welcome, we were met with a rude, condescending bouncer who immediately turned us away, citing the 10 PM rule.
But it wasnāt just the policy that was the problemāit was the way we were treated. The bouncer was unnecessarily harsh and clearly profiling us based on our appearance. We were both dressed casually, but there was no reason for him to treat us like we were troublemakers or undeserving of entry. He barely looked at us, and when we politely asked about the rule, his response was dismissive and borderline misogynistic. It felt like he didnāt even consider us as legitimate customersājust two women he could easily turn away without a second thought.
After my friend kindly traveling so far to get to Australia, this experience was a huge letdown. Instead of enjoying a drink and some much-needed relaxation, we were left standing outside, feeling unwanted and disrespected. If you're a woman, or if you donāt fit their narrow idea of who belongs at the bar, donāt waste your time here. We wonāt be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis cocktail bar is a tiny little bar that a girlfriend of our girls trip has been too before so recommended us to go to. It was AMAZING. I read the reviews for one stars and it is because it is so small you have to get there early to get a table or stand and due to safety they can only have a certain amount of people in there at one time. The bouncer is not rude. In fact he took complete care of me and my girlfriends and was an absolute gentleman. He came in and checked on us to make sure we were OK and having a ball. The staff at this place are absolute gems. The guys behind the bar are super fun, great to have banter with and the Italian gorgeous guy (sorry I didnt get your name) makes a killer Cosmo. This place as small as it is, couldn't be more acomodating to the needs of their patrons. I wish there was a place in Perth like this as it would be my monthly. We had a blast,...
