Bamboo Spice is a hidden gem we stumbled upon while searching for dinner on a weekend evening. Despite our late arrival, we were pleased to find that it was one of the few restaurants open until 9pm in the area.

The restaurant was bustling with customers, and we had to wait for about 30 minutes to secure a table. Once seated, we were greeted by polite and attentive service. The food served at Bamboo Spice was truly delicious, leaving us satisfied with our meal. However, we did notice that the restaurant felt a bit cramped and lacked variety in its menu offerings.

Although every dish we tried was enjoyable, the tom yum soup stood out as slightly different from the authentic flavor we expected. Nevertheless, the interior and atmosphere of Bamboo Spice successfully transported us to a Thai setting, with its beautiful Thai paintings and music.

In conclusion, Bamboo Spice is a fantastic place to experience Thai cuisine in the East Victoria Park area. While the restaurant may be a bit crowded and have limited options, the delicious food and pleasant service make it a worthwhile visit for anyone craving...

This Thai restaurant in Dunsborough is fabulous. My Thai wife and I have dined at many Thai restaurants in Thailand and Australia and this is among our most favourite. The Thai owner, nicknamed Antony, is a wonderfully generous man who we've noticed has many local customers who become his loyal dining friends. His staff, such as Mr Gong (Jackson), the lovely Japanese lady, and all his Thai wait staff, work hard to serve you and enjoy the special Thai menu they offer their customers. The restaurant is beautiful inside with Thai historical scenery. Parking is outside or close by. My Thai wife and I have dined here 6 times over the past few months and again tomorrow and highly recommend the restaurant to everyone, for its tasty Thai food, caring staff, beautiful decor, and easy access. They also do take-away for those busy customers but don't miss dining in when you are visiting...

A nice little find in Dunsborough, ordered my go-to dishes when trying a Thai for the first time (Pad Thai and Tom Yum) both with prawns. The Pad Thai was excellent with a nice balanced flavour. The Tom Yum was pretty good but had a lot of very woody lemongrass in it which was moderately annoying to eat. The service was exceptionally fast. They said 15 mins and it was ready in 5 so don’t stuff about if you call it in and go to collect. Will definitely return.

Edit, went back for a second go the next night. Had the Tom Yum again and it was the same story with the lemongrass. However, when I asked for it properly hot they did actually make it face meltingly hot (Thai hot) for me and it was delicious. Also had the crispy pork belly with basil and chilli. It was...
