Came here for breakfast.
What was annoying was the table of ladies beside us coughing their guts up. No mask and still with a productive cough. What’s the point in checking in when people are allowed to cough and splutter with a communicable respiratory illness and spread it?
Food wise
Bruschetta was ok very tomato heavy and sourdough anaemic. Feta ok and glaze could hardly see it.
Pancakes for my daughter which she said was good
French toast soaked in berries and tasted like eggs it was disgusting. Wife took it back and they made her an eggs Benedict which was ok.
After paying $12 for 3 orange juices we expected freshly squeezed 🍊 instead we got pop top level squash. It was disgusting. After taking it back we did get another orange juice of sorts again very cheap OJ.
Overall below average food quality. Service was below average. Drinks poor and coffee terrible. We have the same Yahava beens at home and don’t make them taste this bad...
Read moreCalled in to have breakfast with my family and was NOT disappointed!! I regularly drop by for coffee with my two kids and we are always treated beautifully, all the staff treat my children like family and we have grown to know them all like family also, this is how small business in a small town should operate, I like walking through a door and being greeted with happy smiles, with beautiful individuals who know exactly what I want or how I have my coffee, I have been to plenty of other cafes around town and sometimes being a mum with two little ones you feel a bit on edge, like your presence is not welcome or the “oh no hear come some kids.......great” but NOT here, the breakfast this morning was excellent, exceptional culinary skills drip from this cafe! Homemade cakes, slices, pies etc, so if you are after some exceptional food, for a great price, with excellent service, which is family friendly....breakaway cafe...

Though the setting and seating outside seemed nice, the seats were limited (due to covid). Not having menus ( again I assume due to covid) was frustrating especially as there was only one menu stuck on the counter at the till. Unfortunately we continued to be disappointed by the not so friendly service, and eye rolls. Definitely not a child friendly Cafe, got that feeling where they were just hoping we would just leave. Kids were a little noisy, but not excessive and not disruptive, mainly just laughing and talking. Coffee was average, pancakes for kids were very good, cooked breakiesg not so good. Overall wouldn't rush back especially if you have...
