Cloud Eleven Esperance — Restaurant in Esperance

We went here for breakfast and to do a few hours of work away from the kids, as we are both travelling full-time. We had just grabbed some water, sat down, got our laptops out and were reading the menu (physical menu not on our laptop) when we were approached by ?owner asking us if we plan to eat anything. We were clearly reading the menu and had not been seated for more than 5 minutes. We ordered and sat back down to receive a reserve sign placed on our table for 12pm (at 9am).

The food was nice and walking in we loved the vibe but unfortunately this situation, added by the side glances from the staff and owner made it extremely uncomfortable to eat and work there. We stayed for a little bit and got some work down as to not waste our money and time, however, in retrospect we should have left but were just too shocked. We try to make an effort to spend money in the towns we are staying and it was disappointing to waste our money on this business when we were very clearly not welcomed. We had left before 10.30am but this was clearly outstaying our welcome.

Such a great cafe! We popped in for lunch on a weekday and it was buzzing! The menu has loads of super yummy dishes including gluten free options (a few coeliac friendly gf too yay!). We ordered the Karaage Chicken Don, Teriyaki Chicken Don and the kiddie K-Chicken meal. We all wolfed down our food it was all so yum! The portions look on the smaller side but we were all full by the end. The staff were lovely - particularly with helping out with coeliac options (checking with the kitchen etc). Absolutely fab place... We were recommended by the owner of the Bathers Paradise Caravan Park and our visit did not disappoint. Coffee was delicious and the cakes and other items ordered were fresh and yummy. We incorrectly ordered ' 2 eggs on toast' meaning just one serve but with 2 eggs. We were given 2 lots of eggs on toast but we were happy to share the second one between the four us. The owner, unprompted, reversed the second charge on our credit card and came to apologise to us...! Over and beyond! Highly recommend... Jenny...
