Betty's Burgers Harbour Town — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I went here with a couple of friends. We asked one of the four workers standing out the front if there was a table for the three of us. A group of people were leaving so the worker told us that we could sit at that table and they would come wipe the table for us. Our table didn't get wiped for the duration of our time there and because of this we also didn't get menus. We decided to order off the app seeing as we had to use this to look at the menu. This told us that it would be ready in 10 minutes (we had thought this was a reasonable wait as it was quite busy at the time). The message we received from the app was that we needed to let someone from the restaurant know that we had arrived. We again asked one of the four ladies standing at the front and she politely informed us that we needed to go to the pick up area and let them know we were there. We went inside to do this and there was another group also waiting for their food. Before we had a chance to let the kitchen staff know we were there another one of the ladies from the front came over and told us that we needed to wait outside. My friend had said that we had an app order and we were told to let them know we were there to which she again told us that we needed to wait outside. 10 minutes later we thought we had been waiting for a while and new customers were already getting their food. We again spoke to this staff member and said that our order hadn't been called yet and that we had an app order to which she said that we should've told them that we were here (which is what we had tried to do originally and tried to explain to her). She then went into the kitchen and brought our order straight out. When we ate our meals they were soggy and cold (burgers and chips). We assume our order had been sitting for 10 minutes while we were standing there waiting for it which we had been told to do. We thought this was an unfortunate experience as if we had of had our table cleaned and had got menus we would have just ordered normally and received our food. I am not sure what the purpose of having four hosts out the front is if they are not making sure their customers are being...

We tried to send this to Betty's head office, but their feedback' 'contact us' button wouldn't work. So I have had to post this here unfortunately. Hello, we were so excited when we found out there was going to be a bettys so close to home. Normally we travel to Pac Fair or Coomera . Went for dinner Sunday night, and I'm sorry to say we were sadly dissapointed. We ate the food in our car,a 2 minute walk from the store. The chips were horrendous and seemed to me they had sat there since the day before. Cold, dead and I personally had 8 black ones, we didn't eat either serve. Quite dissapointed in our food order and definitely not the same standard as other Betty's we have visited numerous times. $52 for 2 burgers, 2 serves of terrible chips that didn't get eaten and a melted shake, that the staff left sitting there obviously before our order was cooked, and we had to ask for it, they handed it over, melted. Bettys was our go to gluten free take out. Just some feedback, as we are very dissappointed and most likely won't be back. Hoping these are just...

Absolutely AWFUL .. OVER PRICED and SUB STANDARD FOOD .. DISGRACEFUL .. the only thing good was the friendly attentive service I got at the counter to order and pick-up .. everything else was deplorable .. I ordered a Deluxe Burger with Pineapple and Tomato Sauce not their "special sauce" could not taste or see any tomato sauce .. very disappointed .. $16 for that served lukewarm .. the Fries even worse .. how can these be stuffed up .. go to Betty's and find out .. disgraceful again .. Shoestring Fries served lukewarm almost cold .. SOFT not crispy on the outside .. Betty's could take lessons from McDonald's here .. Betty's served sub standard wilted soft disgusting fries .. then the Shake .. wow $8 HALF the size TWICE the price of McDonald's and another disgrace .. I ordered Strawberry 🍓 but what I got was semi soft faux vanilla with no taste of strawberries whatsoever .. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE .. TERRIBLE FOOD .. DON'T EVER WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY here !! $32.40 down the drain .. so...
