Boost Juice — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I usually love Boost — I get a juice almost every day — but honestly, this store is on another level… and not in a good way. If the lovely Sarah isn’t the one making or handing over your drink, brace yourself. The service and flavours drop faster than a melting smoothie in summer.

Whether it’s the older lady (who seems to be the owner?) or the tall skinny guy who was working today (Wednesday, 29th Oct), it’s like they’re allergic to smiles and “yes.” They’re the ultimate “no” people — no warmth, no effort, no flavour and sometimes… not even a full cup!

It’s wild how one person (Sarah!) can make every visit such a pleasure — friendly, professional, perfect juices — while the rest seem determined to drain the joy (and the juice) out of the experience.

Bad customer service by manager. My wife was treated rudely by Nicola who wasn't assisting her at the boost stand, Nicola told off my wife and made the Boost assistant cry. All my wife did was sipped the drink and noticed it was mainly carrot, as opposed to mainly greens (cucumber, celery...mint which she asked for), so she asked the assistant if she could correct it, which was about to happen. I ordered a mint condition with some carrot juice. I asked for a new drink with more greens and less carrot Nicola the owner made the assistant who made my drink cry. Nicola threw my money back at me shouting I don't feel like dealing with you right now when all I asked for was more greens and as per Boosts two sip gusrantee.
