Experienced significant challenges at this franchise location on Boxing Day. Despite anticipating a busy period due to a recent storm, the management's response fell short. After patiently waiting for an initially quoted 30-minute wait, our order took an alarming one hour and 40 minutes.
Upon inquiry, our order was hurriedly processed, only to discover the burgers had been left under the salamander for over 30 minutes. Despite expressing concerns about the freshness, the situation was not addressed adequately. The bun had hardened to a point of being inedible, prompting a request for a refund.
The mismanagement was evident as the staff continued to accept new orders, exacerbating the backlog issue. A strategic pause in drive-through service and prioritizing walk-in customers could have alleviated the situation. The failure to recognize and rectify the ongoing problem indicates a need for improved management and operational protocols.
Considering the subpar quality of the food and the disappointing customer experience, it's warranted to question the continued viability of this franchise's license. The evident strain on the staff, coupled with a lack of proactive measures, left numerous customers baffled and dissatisfied. A call for enhanced management is imperative to prevent such occurrences...
Read moreOrdered a Super star with cheese meal at 2:10pm today, which is my usual order. Coke was absolutely flat, watery and tasted terrible, either due to an issue with the machine or being left out too long. Chips were standard and same with the burger. Wasn't worth drinking so it was poured down the drain.
I've been visiting ever since opening and the quality seems to be declining. I was very pleased with the store in January, but now it is hard to recommend. Please fix the drink dispenser or teach staff how to properly manage drinks. Another obvious issue with the store is they don't use the first window, leading to long wait times which means meals can be cold before you even pay for it.
Pro-tip: If you visit the store make sure you dine in, as it seems to have priority over drive through, and you can remake your drink if it isn't to your liking.
Edit: Also had an order last week that was incorrect. Told the cashier at the window after receiving the meal, and was told that's what was ordered, no apology or anything. It was obviously a mistake on their end, so they should have rectified the issue rather than let us leave unimpressed and annoyed with the service. The meal was a lot better that time, however, and would have...
Read moreI just Uber eats Carl's Jr. and ordered a cheeseburger, a Famous Star with Cheese, an Oreo shake, and freshly baked cookies. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
Let's start with the cookies. Despite being advertised as freshly baked, they were anything but. They were rock hard and tasted like they had been baked two months ago. Not at all fresh, and completely stale—definitely the worst part of my meal.
The burgers were just mid. They tasted like a pricier version of McDonald's, but without any significant improvement in quality. For the extra cost, I expected something better, but they were pretty underwhelming.
The shakes were the only somewhat redeeming part of the meal. The Oreo shake was decent, but only because it seemed to be loaded with preservatives. While Carl's Jr. claims their shakes are made with hand-scooped ice cream, it was clear they were using ice cream powder instead, which was disappointing.
Overall, my uber eats from Carl's Jr. was not worth the price. With stale cookies, mediocre burgers, and shakes that rely on preservatives rather than quality ingredients, I’ll be ordering again next...
