On Thursday we had an amazing meal, fresh, quick, great price, excellent service. We decided to return again on Monday, happy to pay the extra 10% for the public holiday as very happy with previous experience. What a disappointment! We ordered the garlic bread which cheese, came out burnt and half the size we had on the Thursday, not great but we could see past that. We waited over 40 mins and saw several people order after us get their meals first, we followed up with one of the staff and asked to check, they then shouted from the doorway, coming out soon (later known as Brooke). Meals received, the 400g steak was disappointing, the size was no bigger than the 200g one of our party ordered on the Thursday. My husband spoke to a waitress who referred us to the manager. ‘Brooke’ attended the table, we told her that the size was disappointing and we are happy to pay for what it was worth and asked to have it weighed. She said there are no scales. Also mentioned the wait, she said it was normal for multiple meals (we had 5, the other 4 were deep fried) it takes 35-40mins, we said that wasnt the case on Thursday when it was busier and it was 15 min wait. She then snapped at us and asked ‘well how many chefs were working?’ To that we had no idea and thought 10% covered the staff working, I wouldn’t think the amount of staff would affect the overall service. We offered to pay for what the steak was worth approx between a 200-300 at best. Brooke then snatched the plate from under my husband hands and refused to give it back, at no point did we ask her to take it or replace it, just that is was not the 400g we paid for but happy to pay for what it was worth. She then further told us it was not how we should behave in front of our children. We thought we were having an adult discussion and at no point in time did we ask for her opinion on what is right or wrong for our children. I had to prise the meal out of her hands, a meal we had already paid for. We said to forget it and we would just eat it and leave. She then said we had to leave immediately after we had finished our meal. She then stood over us watching us eat our meal and we had to ask her to leave us to eat multiple time. If that is the management in your establishment, I would be severely disapoitned with how this situation was handled. After an amazing service one day to absolutely disgusting the next. I would be concerned going back with the inconsistency and the poor management skills of the staff. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant due to the inconsistency and rudeness of that one particular staff member. If I wrote a review on the Thursday, it would have been...

Read moreHad lunch here on Monday and was disappointed.
Firstly, staff at the bar did not seem to be busy and I had to wait quite some time to be served.
Secondly, when ordering, I wanted to order the chicken wings but was told that it was sold out. The place was not busy and the lunch service had just begun. I could only assume that the weekend was busy and they ran out of chicken. But this was Monday and one would think the chef would ensure that there was sufficient stock for the week ahead or at least, the day.
Third, our meals took nearly 40 minutes to arrive. I could understand this if the place was busy but there were not many diners. I don't think that such a wait is reasonable for 2 fish and chips and 2 salads.
On the positive side, the food was good. My Thai beef salad had a generous portion of beef and the dressing was decent enough.
Finally, we were dining outside and ibris began dining on the left overs of other diners. No one came out to remove the plates and I decided to remove some plates from another table into the inner dining area.
I think this is a health issue and should be addressed urgent.
This is my second negative experience with this place. Sadly, i may not come here again and my cousin who came from Adelaide was similarly...
