Goodness Gracias - Vegan Mexican — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Never thought vegan food could taste this good! I will admit that I am writing this review a little late, but Goodness Gracias has already featured in a YouTube vlog comparing Palm Beach Mexican restaurants (there's two others by the way). As a Mexican restaurant it's NOT authentic, but as a vegan restaurant it's a great place worth checking out. The reason for my "unauthentic" Mexican comment is because the taco portion sizes are larger than what you would find on the streets of Mexico (but this is a common western mistake that most places selling tacos here in Australia make). Large tacos with more than recommended filling means for a messier eating experience. However, all the fillings of the the three tacos I trialed were DELICIOUS! My only solution to solve the messy tacos to elevate the consumer experience is to toast the tortillas. Not only does this place sell hot savoury food, but they have a cabinet full of sweet treats. OMG!! I’m not vegan but this is my absolute favourite place to go for a Burrito, Nachos, Tacos. It’s next level YUM!! From the vegan prawns, vegan chicken and jackfruit options, (I haven’t tried the vegan beef options yet) but the toughest decision is always which one today ha ha! The staff are lovely & the chocolate brownie is to die for (insert drool). The servings are generous. Eg: The nachos in this photo are a small size & was enough to share between 2 people. Maybe a large between two men but the small was perfect for us two gals. The burritos are super filling, the jackfruit burrito & the prawn burritos are my favourite. Serviced by a minor who continuously made errors with our orders. Ordered a burrito and began to eat it when the minor came out to tell me they couldn't make it yet it was already in my mouth 😐. Ordered 2 drinks and only 1 ended up on the table then had to pay for the second one which took till we leaving to reach our table. The food was below average for an all vegan place. Mushy textures, no flavour and at 6pm half of the menu was not available. Inexperienced staff, crampt seating and even called to book a table and was told it was booked but when we rocked up there was no tables reserved or free so we believe they don't honour or even give reservations...Do not recommended ever...
