Palm Beach Parklands — Attraction in Gold Coast City

Very impressed with the place. Great choices for swimming and activities wth the kids. All within a few minutes walk of each other. Was so nice to have the beach, river and the playground so close together. Plenty of toilet and changing facilities around and was nice to see many, many trees planted throughout the parklands providing shade. Best spot for us was down by the river, where the kids got swimming, sand castle building and we got a spot under a tree next to them. One of the nicest little spots for doggos to splash around and play. Lots of friendly locals and their best friends will join you here. Well shaded in many parts, and calm waters for the shorter pups. The council is a little picky about where dogs go on and off lead around this space, so be hyper-mindful of signs as fines apply for being off-lead in the wrong areas. I love this place for a good day out with my dog - the Currumbin Creek Waters are a great opportunity for having a swim with him or throwing a ball or the odd stick.
