Grill'd Burgers - Benowa Gardens — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Avoid this one - Love Grill’d but this restaurant location is failing to meet even basic service.

I have experienced fantastic Grill’d from Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane to Gold Coast (pacific fair) and largely they are amazing but sadly Benowa Gardens is NOT one of them. Even sadder this is my local now 😔and have experienced an array of poorly constructed burgers, cold food, moody service and long waits and my most recent transaction is probably my favourite (worst) so far…

Clearly ordered “Impossible Simply Grill’d” and got a the “Simply Grill’d” that’s fine mistakes do happen, also ordered the juice with the kids meal and received water which happy to overlook. But on returning the burger I was told it would be another 20 minute wait. It took 25 minutes.

That is unacceptable it is your mistake I shouldn’t have my family waiting after finishing their food, spending a total of close to an 1h30mins having already waited 30 minutes for the original order.

How can local locations Pacific Fair, Surfers Paradise and Harbour Town, get it so right and this location so wrong.

Such a waste...

The Benowa restaurant staff failed to follow a simple request for a PLAIN cheese burger despite my 3 simple confirmation at the counter that it was No sauce no salad just a plain Burger with cheese and bread , when I arrived back home I opened my meal to see a sauce loaded burger , upon ringing the store the manager refused to replace my meal and send a Urber eats , instead telling me to get back I'm my car and drive 29 minutes back to the store and get a refund . then they put the phone down and failed to answer my 8 calls , this shows me an utter contempt for their customers, i will never step foot in another Grilld and will tell all my friends and associates of the dreadful customer service. This has happened on a number of occasions before at Robina and miami which i know is a human error , on previous occasions my meal was replaced and an apology, however these stores were busy at the time .This occasion I was the only customer maybe this was the reason that 5 staff can mess up one order....please avoid this store if you have anything that is slightly different...

Came here for lunch, so disappointed. Burger buns were dry and the vege burger was dry and not cooked well. Service was shocking.

Ordered 2 burgers, chips and 2 x sauces. Burgers came out, were plonked on the table, literally. Were told to enjoy our meal. Husband went and asked if our chips were coming and the young lady was rude and said "i said they were" .. she didnt. Then she put chips on table and walked away. Forgot our 2 x sauces we paid for. Aksed her and she turned around very rudely and made another comment.

I told her she was being very rude. She then made comments to other staff and they all smiled.

She then preceeded to clear the table next to us, smiling and being very kind to the patrons. Checking on their meals.

We got no such service. No smiles. Dry burgers. So unhappy. Will not be coming back here again. Dont know what has happened to the management but...
