Beautiful views of the marina and great food. The service was a bit weird waiting to order food at the counter (bar staff taking their time?) as they don’t have QR code but nevertheless we got there and the guy seating us was super friendly and nice! I tried the Schnitty meal, husband had the Parmi, also ordered some wings, and kids ordered the bolognaise and nuggets/chips. We sat outside and the heaters were onšŸ˜what a lovely view. Our meals came our fairly quickly. And the schnitty did not disappoint. Mind you it was actually bigger than the size of my hand 🤣chips were nice and the kids bolognaise = great value for money. It was a generous size portion. I also tried a cocktail called the Pink Sands 🤤this is everything I like in a summery style drink. Reminds me of being on holiday! The prices are not cheap but the portions match the sizes you pay for. I would like to visit again during the day when the sun is out and the live music is on ..which I believe is Sunday. Friday night kind of had a rowdy vibe so wasn’t feelin the inside area. But the cocktail menu looks the goods, I’m keen to try more. Update July 2023: Went on a Monday night. The service seems a little non existent. I booked a table and there was no one to kind of provide any sort of customer service for the place ..while people came in and explain the ordering process with food (whether it’s table service or just go and line up šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø) can’t just assume people know cos every place is different and we ended up grabbing our own menus since no one acknowledged my group. Anyway food was great. But the inside section smelt like feet where the high table was 🤢That was actually so off putting and the service not being great makes me not in a hurry to come back. Need better vibes and smiling staff - the staff look like they don’t wanna be there. Service and experience 2 stars, atmosphere (dead and non welcoming) 2 stars. Can be better

Just to be sure, I have visited here a couple of times. It is in a nice location overlooking a small marina. I hate lining up to order, then being given a buzzer to call you when your meal is ready. Like many places, this one is understaffed. For whatever reason, I do not care. They have to find a way to solve the straffing issue. Food was OK but like many places they think that more sauces or dressings the better. So instead of tasting the chicken wings for example, all I could taste was the sauce which coated fingers and wristrs. No matter how many paper serviettes I used I could not get my fingers clean and lets face it these days we do not lick our fingers. One particularly annoying aspect of this place are the aluminium chairs without nylon gliders on the legs. Every time somebody stood up or sat down the noise from the chair legs on the concrete floor was louder than conversation. These annoying chairs are the same problem 12 months ago. Surely the ownwers can buy some nylon gliders to reduce or even stop the noise. Yes, they make cocktails. Each table seemed to have at least one cocktail but only one person was serving. The creation of each cocktail was a high point but the time taken was a low point.

Found this hidden gem 10 mins from my house. They have a courtesy bus. Well priced meals and a great variety. I had the steak and it melted in my mouth. Cooked perfectly and a tasty side salad. Nice atmosphere, a great view over the water and a very poplar place as it was busy. Service was excellent and staff friendly. Had live music which was nice (not too loud so you could still talk) great cocktail menu as well. Only 5 pokies and the room was stuffy and small but I still had a little win 😁

Seconded to the comment which says it feels like a canteen more than a ā€œnice lunch outā€ which sucks cause we came to celebrate an occasion together. Ordered rib eye steak and lamb cutlets meals. Rib eye steak was uh… cold? credit that they cooked the ā€œmediumā€ right, but why was it cold when i practically sprinted when hearing the buzzer? (speaking of which, this is what made it feel like a canteen, the food quite literally gets sat on a school canteen style servery while you come up with your buzzer and collect your own food…) and as for the cutlets, they looked like a frozen heat up meal? They’re pre-crumbed which was a surprise because maybe i’m blind but i didn’t see the part about them being crumbed, they felt deep fried. When you order lamb cutlets you expect fresh, hot, grill cooked meat. Not in a deep fried takeaway fashion. Worst part. They offer the steak with chips and salad… or mash and veg. My lady said hey can you get me the chips and veg. She said, $5 extra, at the counter. Okay fair enough maybe it’s 1 or the other no mixing and matching. But this just feels an odd choice as usually it’s ā€œextraā€ for mash at any other tavern, not the veg part? Came out with 1 (yes, one) of each vegetable. 1 tiny stalk of broccoli. 1 piece of carrot. 1 piece of cauliflower, and a shave of corn off the cob. $5 means it was $1 per vegetable piece on that plate? 🤣 inflation is rampant we get it but, you serious?!? Location here is AMAZING, we came thinking wow what a location this is gonna be awesome. Enjoyed the presence of each other and the location itself, but food was… greatly disappointing. Even the freaking bowl of chips were luke warm… $90+ for a 2 person feed to get canteen quality foods at a premium,...
