Apparently you have comedians working at your Ashmore store!
My brother and i decided to go and order some food, simple right? Nope. Upon driving into the drive thru i notice a sign- an A4 piece of paper stuck to the speaker reading “NO CASH. EFTPOS ONLY.” Upon enquiring whether this was still relevant the girl replied “Yes” and apologised, which really does you no good when you’re in a drive thru that cannot be backed out of, nor has another lane so you may simply drive out. So i get to ride the drive thru like the worlds slowest merry-go-round behind two other cars only to be looked at like a complete imbecile by the girl at the window as i drive past and out. Fast forward to our return, cash in hand. I drive through the carpark again, spotting several places that signs could be placed to explain the lack of eftpos but seeing no such common sense. The girl once again opens with the spiel about trying a new burger (please have them stop doing that by the way!) and then proceeds with “oh by the way we have no eftpos” to which i reply with “yes i’m aware as i’ve had to come back after already being stuck in here.” She replies with her sorries and whatnot, my brother places the order and we get to the window to be greeted with “sorry about the eftpos but there’s nowhere to put out other signs.” And a smug little smile. After pointing out the places where there indeed could be signs she tells me how unnecessary that is, and then laughs to another team member. I explain to her that i find it unnecessary to be stuck in a drive thru due to lack of common sense and hand her my money. Lo and behold there is a wait for something (no surprises there really!) and i get asked to wait in the bats at the front of the store. Fast forward to my arrival home to find a lovely printed out “NO EFTPOS. CASH ONLY” sign stuffed into the bag with my food! So witty. On the phone i get to a girl, Emma, who proclaims herself the store manager and i explain this whole ordeal. “Oh i wasn’t aware that they did that, i was helping pack orders!” She says. I’m curious to know how she was unaware of her little comedians doing this if she was, indeed, packing orders? Anyway, i was assured that the staff would be reprimanded, which i’m sure she won’t be.
All in all, my dinner and a comedy act adventure was very dissatisfying. Hats off to you, Emma at Ashmore, you’ve some very hilarious fifteen year old girls working your...
Read moreThe customer service here is absolutely ridiculous. Over 25 minutes wait for breakfast on app, only for them to forget one pancakes, two hashbrowns and the orange juice. When I explained what had happened today an extremely rude girl named Sascha literally slammed the drive thru door in our face when we asked if we could just wait in the drive thru not parking bay. She insuiated that I was lying about last time saying she had never seen a wait over 25 minutes in parking bay. When I requested a refund inside for the other orded as this was only a few days prior they then proceeded to tell me I was trying to get free money and that it was not possible because it was not done on the day. I was late to work that day due to the wait so there was no way I was standing around longer getting a refund same day. No idea there was any items missing either til arriving at work. And I am unsure as to why they think people really have nothing better to do with their time, I do not need 20 dollars, I am not desperate for many, its for the simple fact that I got half the order and waited 25 minutes or more as well. Its not the first time there has been an extensive wait but at least they remembered all the items previously. It should not be hard to get an order right but also to do it in a timely matter and if in a customer facing role, please just treat the customers with respect, not laugh in their face. I think the younger staff lack the understanding that although its a fast food business its still a business and how you treat/ serve people actually matters. It might be 'cheap food' but we are still paying customers. I frequent this store at least 3 times a week on the way to work but will not do so again until my complaint gets resolved and they actually discipline/ train...
Read morePriority order was placed tonight as an uber customer I was forced to wait beyond the hour waiting time by uber so a refund is partially issued to be but even still I waited my poor driver is not allowed to leave the store or accept any more deliveries until my order was completed this in turn is preventing him making money for his family so cancelled my order got a full refund of my order and contacted uber directly explaining that the driver in this situation usually would not receive payment and the food company get their money back but my driver was not as fault so I demanded they pay him his entire profit for my order and I hoped he made contact also and then stated everything being something he should not be refused pay but just in case they didn’t understand and accept who is to blame I transferred more than he would have made direct to him on arrival plus a tip via the app he deserves it hungry jacks you should feel ashamed with limited staff it would have take just 1 person half the time to prepare my order and get the driver on his way and able to control his earnings not have you hold him hostage because of an incident though unfortunate should not be forced on someone else and something out of every one’s control so shame on you I hope this teaches even 1 person reading this to think about this and all involved so to get the best outcome overall not blame someone else all the time take responsibility for your actions and decisions made in moments of your life and your company that way you can only...
