As a local, it was my second time dining at La Mama. I took my family that was visiting from Melbourne out for dinner here last night. During this visit we received our entrees about 20 minutes after we arrived and then waited over an hour for our mains, our mains were only 2 pizzas and a pasta. We saw tables that arrived after us getting their mains and began to wonder what was taking so long. Our waitress said “I promise it’s on it way I’ve checked on the order”. 20 minutes later we then went in to ask about our food as it’s was after 8pm and getting later. The manager then came out to apologise and said our docket was called 7 minutes ago, and offered us a free drink. We declined and felt disappointed. We enjoyed our food once it arrived. so i’ve already written a review for La Mamma, but i had to write another one. My best friend and i went in for dinner last night and let me tell you all, the food was top notch!! i’ve been in so many times but i think last night was the best experience. the bartender, Reef, was amazing as usual. he always kept an eye out for when out drinks were getting low, and always asked if we needed another drink. Abby, our waitress, was literally so amazing and always knew the right time to help us out. Andrew was amazing and vibrant as usual. that’s not it though!! we got the meatball special to share and i literally cannot recommend them enough. hopefully they can be added to the menu🤌🏼 they were cooked to perfection and the sauce was so good. thank you for another...
