Ok, so first off the poor team members trying to get the orders together were working incredibly hard and doing the best they could on a sinking ship.
The manager on duty this morning 18/2/24 at 10:30am was on her phone at the back ignoring her staff. The self service order machines were out of paper so no one was getting numbers. In stead of being on her phone and leaving her staff floundering the manager should’ve been up front reading out what the orders were for the customers and helping pack them. The guy packing the orders had a stack of about 20 burgers waiting at one time.
Coffees that had been ordered were made and left sitting on the counter for over 7 minutes. I’m sure the only reason there were no complaints about cold drinks is because we were all aware how hard the team members - not the manager - were working and how long it would take to get a new one.
I have been to other McDonald’s where coffees are given to customers when they are made and the rest of the order follows or the other way around. This means customers get the hot drinks they paid for.
On suggesting this to the manager I got a very unfriendly and irritable response adding that they were doing their best. I agree, her team was doing their best. The manager however was not. I witnessed her snapping at team members for ‘not helping get orders out’ when they had literally a second before finished taking an order from a customer. One poor girl looked close to tears.
Sadly the team members working at the front will be the ones to get yelled at by hungry customers even though they are working hard. A proper manager would be out the front with them not on their phone and hiding in the back.
I hope that someone reads this review from the company and offers this manager some training in how to do her job properly and inspire her team. I feel very bad for everyone working...
Read moreCame to this McDonalds on the way home from Redcliffe, and stopped at this store to recharge. Now, I've been to my fair share of service station maccas, so I thought I knew what to expect.
How wrong I was!
The customer service at this McDonalds is deplorable. You work in hospitality... PLEASE ACT LIKE IT. The woman at the counter rudely addressed me: 'What do you want?'. Now, without hearing it, this can sound innocent. However, when paired with the harsh, aggressive tone, it is unmistakably hostile.
The manager on duty at the time called out my number, slammed the food onto the raised platform and then walked away. As I had ordered an indulgent shake, I was wondering if I could possibly get one of the clear scoop straws. I stood at the counter for maybe a minute, attempting to get their attention.
Eventually, I got the attention of the manager. Upon asking, the manager snarled: "We don't have those here". She then immediately walked away. If you are a manager, you need to set a good example for the workers. This is a sad excuse for a manager.
And the food. Usually, I don't care about the food, seeing as McDonalds is usually very busy. However, I've seen much better burgers, and service from much busier stores.
The burger wrapping was atrocious, there were no napkins in the bags, the fries were spilt, and my friends burger was put together horribly (see image).
All in all, this is by far the WORST McDonalds I have ever had the displeasure of entering. If you want to stand a chance, you need to learn how to serve your customers. If I could give you 0 stars, you bet your bottom dollar I would.
When it comes to Coomera, the burgers really are better at...
Read moreGot Uber eats delivered at midnight. Burgers were room temperature and both fries were completely cold and stale. They had the old look to them, some chips tasted like they came straight out from the fridge and were soft and didn’t taste like fries. Burgers were a little hard too, don’t think the driver was at fault as they came straight here and even if I took my time driving back it would still be warm. Such a shame I have to waste extra money on Uber as I am not legally allowed to drive during the night and can’t return the food back to the counter. Now waiting for Uber to respond for your mistake. I’ve worked in fast food retail in movieworld on fryers where it is busy and can get chips out hot and fresh. Don’t know how chips are served cold when midnight is always dead quiet. Food standards and quality should always be a priority here, felt like the fries were passed the 2 hour danger zone at the temperature it was served I hope I don’t get sick 🤢 Please retrain your staff whoever was managing on the 24th of July at...
