KFC Coomera South — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Before writing this review, I went through other customers’ feedback and understood why the rating is only 3.3.

I placed my order online (#1868) for drive-thru pickup. After receiving it, I went straight home to Pimpama, as my wife and daughter were waiting and hungry. Once home, I noticed the order was incomplete. I took a photo as proof, left the food with my family so they wouldn’t have to eat it cold, and returned to the restaurant to collect the missing items.

When I complained, I was met by a young staff member in charge, who was extremely rude. She first sent another girl to tell me I had to bring back all the food previously given for “checking.” I told them they could simply check the cameras to see that my order had not been completed. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it, and only then she said she would give me the missing items.

The behavior of both girls showed a complete lack of empathy, respect, and professionalism. It was clear they have not been properly trained to deal with customers or resolve issues with excellence.

Got kfc tonight from here as a little treat and got a zinger box. They said they only had a large potato and gravy and not the regular but they happily gave it to me free of extra charge so that was fine and turned out well. But then I got home and found out they gave me a small bag of chips instead of a regular. Since when does a zinger box at $16.35 come with small chips in a bag? So because they gave me a large potato and gravy and didn’t have the regular they gave me small chips in return like are you guys fr? It’s not my fault you’re out of stock. Not to mention the popcorn chicken I got wasn’t even full too. So I guess if they don’t have something and they give you a larger size they’ll cut back on everything else. $16.35 and didn’t even fill me up still hungry, what a joke seriously. I could’ve gotten a way better deal and left me full from hungry jacks or maccas that’s actually just pathetic. 👎 Make sure to check your food before you leave if they upsized something else don’t want anyone else getting ripped off not to mention I’ve never left a one star review...

Ordered lunch for my family through uber eats only to receive the order incomplete. Missing 3 large chips, 6 tenders, 6 nuggets and dipping sauces. All we received were the burgers. The uber driver was so lovely and offered to go back to get the missing food, however I called the store to inform them and the girl I spoke to put me on hold to “check with her crew”. She then said she spoke to her crew and they said they put all the food in the one bag. However I repeated to her I’m looking at the bag - that was sealed by them - that had only 6 burgers in it. She then proceeded to tell me I have to leave feedback on the uber eats app to get a refund. So the $70+ that was spent on lunch for my family was a waste of money and time.
