NEVER RECOMMEND………I strongly discourage recommending this place to others. My husband and I visited Nando's Harbour Town Branch today for lunch, and we had very unpleasant and disheartening experience. We decided to order the burgers, but unfortunately, the INDIAN GIRL who served us brought the wrong order. When I informed her of the mistake, she responded rudely, said that it was my error when I ordered thru the app. However, I had actually placed the order at the reception, not through the app.
I requested her to warm the burgers and add some mayo since it appeared dry. She took both plates back to the kitchen, but when she returned, she slammed them on the table. Upon checking, I noticed that our burgers were still very cold. I brought this to her attention, and once again she responded rudely and said that they don’t warm the burgers and quickly left the table in a hurry.
Feeling let down, I went inside and asked that Indian girl for her name explaining that I wanted to give feedback on Google. Shockingly, she refused to disclose her name. I reminded her that it is my right as a customer to ask for her name, especially considering her role in dealing with customers. However, she remained stubborn and declined to provide any identification. Frustrated, I requested to speak with the manager and shared the entire incident. Unfortunately, the manager displayed a lack of cooperation and failed to provide her name as well. The manager's unfriendly behavior and attitude were especially disheartening, as it is their role to make sure that customers feel valued and respected. It is very important that Nando's reconsider their staffing choices, as both the staff and manager were unhelpful and unfriendly.
I hope that Nando's takes this review seriously and addresses the need for friendlier and more cooperative staff that one would expect from customer service...
Read moreAbsolutely Disgusting Service at the Harbourtown Store on the Gold Coast Qld , My Wife & I were made to feel really unwelcome so we left. We Decided to have Nandos tonight as a late dinner after the 6.30pm Movie , we checked the Closing Time ( 10.30pm ) before making that decision. We Got there at Nandos at 8.35pm and the young Girl was already stacking chairs upside down on the Tables to close. She told me to go to the outside tables outside the Restaurant and Scan the Barcode on the Table to Order but was told it will take a while. The Restaurant only had 3-4 people there so it wasn’t busy. I told her I need to verbally order as I need to do 2 sauces on the chicken so she told me to stand and wait but it will be a long wait. She went back to stacking chairs upside down on tables. After a 15 minute wait another worker asked if I need anything , I told him I want to order and to dine in as they close at 10.30pm , he then told me it will be a 25-30 minute wait , as I said there was only 3-4 people in the restaurant so why would it take so long. After being made to feel like I’m in their way I decided to forget it and leave without eating Dinner. The whole time we was there we were made to feel unwelcome & uncomfortable and that they didn’t want to serve us as they were only interested in was cleaning up and going home and they still had 2hrs left. Why were they doing this especially on a Friday Evening in the Restaurant Food District of Harbourtown Shopping Centre. Poor Attitude Poor Service and I Do Not Recommend Nandos at Harbourtown /...

I recently decided to indulge in a meal at Nando's, and let me tell you, it was a memorable experience—mostly in the sense that I’ll be telling this story at dinner parties for years to come.
I ordered my chicken with BBQ sauce, thinking I was in for a sticky, finger-licking good time. Instead, what I got was a chicken that was so raw it could have auditioned for a role as a farm animal in a school play. I mean, I’ve seen better cooking from my microwave popcorn!
And the BBQ sauce? Let’s just say it was about as present as my motivation to work out after the holidays. I was expecting a glorious, saucy embrace, but what arrived was more like a drizzle that had been on a strict diet. If the chicken was looking for a spa treatment, the sauce was clearly on a “less is more” kick. I could barely taste it! I’ve had ketchup with more personality.
To make things worse, when I asked for extra BBQ sauce, the server gave me a look that said, “You really think that’s going to help?” It was almost as if they were trying to tell me that even the sauce was embarrassed to be associated with that chicken.
So, if you’re looking for an adventure in culinary confusion, Nando’s is your place! Just be prepared to question your life choices and consider taking a cooking class afterward. At least then, you can ensure that your chicken is both cooked and sauced—because apparently, Nando’s believes in giving you half the experience… and...
