Pizza Hut The Pines — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

What a joke. Driving back from Brisbane at 945 and ordered to have when home. Could have stopped at many places along the way. By 1050 the tracking still showed preparing so called and a girl stated that they only had one person making and one person driving???? It's a sat night? No actual time for making or delivering and we have to work tomorrow...order cancelled and had to have toast instead... should have stopped at a fast food on the way home! If you can't service people have the integrity to contact to advise so that at 11pm customers are not chasing you and getting nothing but poor excuses....run your business properly... what a joke! Should have gone with Dominos...but will in future...I will be taking this further....it seems a common theme now that im looking at other reviews....lack of care or just no idea on business. Either way. Its a disgrace.....how do you call yourself a business just riding on the reputation of the brand which by the way you are destroying.....pizza hut used to be the go to. Reliable affordable and tasty...now its just $hit pizza.

This would have to be THE worst pizza and service I've ever experienced and not the first time from here. The first time my order was delivered with the pizza upside down in the box because the driver apparently had to slam on their brakes and the pizza fell to the floor. No reimbursement or apology offered. Today we ordered 8 pizzas and 4 garlic breads totally over $110 and was told 50 minutes delivered . The order took 2 hours to arrive despite 3 phone calls. The driver arrived and started to take the order out of the boot of her car but then got back in the car and drove off. After another call, she arrived again with cold squashed pizzas and couldn't answer why she drove off. I asked her for the receipt and invoice and she tokd me she has it in the car and went to get it but she jumped in the car and drove off despite me trying to wave her down. When I called the store again, the manager was less than pleasant and said she didn't understand what I wanted. I asked for a refund for the cold and close to inedible pizzas and was told she couldn't do that. She eventually agreed to the refund but I will never order from here again. I used to order from here once a week and now I will never order again. I cannot believe the amount of trouble I have experienced. Something has changed in the last few months and not only is the service terrible but the quality of the food products has disappeared. My last order was the absolute last straw: the delivery drivers were rude, for some reason two of them showed up but it looked like the kid just wanted to bring his girlfriend with him, my order was made completely wrong AND had missing items which I had to wait over an hour to receive. I complained several times through the appropriate channels and never once got a response back. Not only are they unwilling to acknowledge their mistakes but apparently they are not interested in fixing them or compensating you for your trouble. You will be charged extra on a Sunday and they will still provide terrible services. Plenty of other restaurants...
