Sandwich Chefs - The Pines Elanora — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

The young girl serving me was unfriendly and rude. That was first impression, I should have walked away then. But I didn't. All I wanted was a cheese and salad sandwich, I didn't get avocado(note take the plastic seek off if your not going to use fresh Avo) also when I asked for seeded mustard and tomatoe relish, I had to explain to her which one was seeded mustard, then she told me they had not relish. But then found and empty crispy white bowl with next to no relish in. Her manager( or ither employee) then told her there was more in the fridge but she hasn't even bothered to look. I had to ask her to spread out my read onion and beetroot as it was only on one side..... She told me she would put more relish on but never did.

She then wrapped up the sandwich, went over to the registered and came back, I asked how much, she took a second to think, then looked like she came up with a random amount. She said $10. That's when my partner interfered and asked me to please not support them, as he has stood behind me biting his tongue the whole time. I then just said politely, I'm going to leave it. She rolled her eyes and turned her back immediately.

It's so easy to make a sandwich. And also very easy to say hi how are you, what would you like?... Not what do you want. Anyway i then entered woolworths and brought all my own ingredients for under $10 to make multiple hand made real...

Have been a customer since you opened. Used to enjoy your bacon and egg rolls. They had two eggs, two pieces or more of well cooked bacon on a large roll. They now consist of one egg,a very small piece of undercooked bacon,on the smallest roll imaginable. They also cost more. The photo on display advertising them clearly shows two eggs, so I guess this is misleading advertising as well. You have lost a customer through your extreme greediness. Your product is now less than half the original size and costs more. In reply to your response I would like to point out that the double egg and more bacon and larger roll were standard before you closed,not promotional. Used to also have free coffee. I don't believe you when you say you were doing this for cost price. You may have offered an extra egg, but what about the extra bacon and a larger roll? What about your photo showing two eggs? Unsure of why this place has negative reviews. There are various reasons to why I highly recommend Sandwich Chefs.

1: Customer service. They didn’t have Iced Chai latte on the menu. Without questions they stated don’t worry! We can do it. The staff were welcoming and enthusiastic.

2: Variety. They have various options that can fit most people’s needs. If you are on a diet you can choose between a roast and fresh juices. If you want a cheat meal you have plenty of options that won’t make you feel like you overdid it.
