The baos were super delicious. Meat was juicy, succulent and soooo tasty. The sauce, marinade pork belly melted in my mouth 🥰😍 The slaw yummmm

23.6.2022 Take away Bo kho Vietnamese beef stew So delicious and reminded me of Mum's home cooked Bo kho. I am desperate to give zero star if i could. They do have a couple of major issues. Food may be great, I am not sure because we did not get to try food at all. We waited for more than an hour but did yet get any main food we ordered. Only we got in more than an hour was four spring rolls. We had to go up to the reception to ask how far our order was off. No one gave a single attention to us. So if you want to ask where your order is at, you will have to go all the way up to the casher and ask. But it is not the end. If you ask, they will be very rude and tell you that you will have to indefinitely wait because 1) you did not book and 2) they are so busy, all make so much sense right? I was soooooo impressed. Before you choose to go there, think over if you have at least two hours and if you are ready to serve yourself. I do appreciate such entitled staff in the restaurant. A little hidden gem tucked away in Southport. We came here purely based on reviews. Every dish we ordered were tasty and flavoursome. Soft shell crab salad and ginger prawns were our favourites which I will try to recreate to add to our home dinner repertoire. The service was excellent. The owner Uyên (Wynn) was the perfect host and it was so lovely to know that she is also Vietnamese. Without us even asking her she offered us a small bowl of sliced fresh chilli which was deadly hot,. She knew that as Vietnamese we always have fresh chilli at every meal because without fresh chilli is like eating bland food. Thank you for looking after us Uyên.
