Goulburn's Best Cafe + Co — Restaurant in Goulburn

I usually won't post negative reviews but some of the staff here are hopeless. The guy who served me has a bad case of retail disease. After telling him i was allergic to soy I asked if they had soy free food - random Grunt

Then I asked for a takeaway thickshake 4 times. After I raised my voice he suddenly realised listening is a lost art.

Then 5 minutes after he went wandering off to do something else I gave up as the thickshake hadn't been started.

Nothing to do with his ethnicity. Plenty of Aussie servers have the same disease

I feel sorry for the main guy getting his reputation trashed by staff like this.

Paying $10 for something i didn't get was worth removal of the aggro.

Gorgeous little Cafe that smashes out a lot of coffees and meals quite efficiently with friendly service .

The servings are generous. The photo I've uploaded does not show that there are two slices of bread stacked on top of each other !

There are only 13 or 14 tables here and 3 staff and I'm sure sometimes they would be full. 10am on a Wednesday there were 4 to 7 tables in use and meals and coffee delivered within ten minutes . I think the play list is sine sort if emo 3asy listening with bands like Cigarettes After Sex and Antony and the Johnsons .

There are some corner tables here that ate perfect for keeping yiur kids in...

The coffee tasted a tiny bit over extracted (confirmed by my daughter who had one too) and took a long time to make. There were 6 people in front of me and there were just the two guys working making drinks and sandwiches. It took about 15-20 minutes to get a coffee so be prepared for a wait when you go here. My two brothers have also said it takes a long time there to get a coffee. Prices are reasonable. $12.91 for two large coffees (one on oat milk).
