Finally made the trip to the very last Pizza Hut All You Can Eat left in Victoria, to let my kids experience a childhood memory. We sat in for lunch service. The building is very aged, and needs a good makeover. Inside, it was a bit dull and not exciting feel like the restaurants used to feel. The seating was ok. The food came out fresh, the pizzas were amazing, a good selection. The pasta was not appealing, only having spirals with two pasta sauces with no parmesan to offer. The salad bar looked very underwhelming and wasn't keen to try as the bowls they were in, made the food look not presentable. However, my fiancé tried the salad bar and he said it was not bad. Dessert was the usual Jelly, Mousse, choc cake and Icecream. Now the desserts were spread out, icecream machine set up near the entrance, choc cake, and icecream toppings on one end of the salad bar whilst the jelly & mousse was on the other end, which made no sense. Mousse was sickening rich, jelly was great. Icecream machine, well it came out thick but within 30seconds, the icecream was semi melted and was a bowl of liquid. Still edible but it wasn't firm like it should be. Choc cake went well with the liquid icecream. Staff seemed nice. Didn't interact with them much. Overall, it was good to enjoy a childhood memory and it was worth what we paid. We would like to come back another time in the future but that's if they don't close their doors for good. The kids loved the good but they didn't show the excitement like we did at their age. I think they were more overwhelmed. The highlight for them was the pizza and ice cream.

I am not a local, but whenever I make the trip to Clunes, I always make time to come out to Ballarat just for this Pizza Hut for a nostalgic experience. The staff are always lovely, I never have any communication issues and the food is always so well done! The crust is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the cheese is always stretchy, the meat is always sizzling to perfection and the base of the pizza underneath is golden brown and don't even get me started on the garlic bread! The desert is small in range but in this case its a "less is more" situation. You don't want too many options with desert, especially when you've just pigged out on such delicious pizza. The desert does include jelly, chocolate moose, chocolate brownie squars and of course the good ol' ice-cream machine (vanilla). Toppings for these deserts are varied also with sauces and sprinkles. The staff can cater to dietary requirements ie; vegetarian, vegan, fussy eaters (such as myself) The drinks (soda) are also free refills. I found the booths comfortable and spacious and the tables clean and well presented. The floor was also clear and the bathrooms well tended to. The only complaint I can really say is the salad bar. The pasta and potato salad I'm pretty sure come from the same company as where Coles/woolies get their ones but to be fair, you don't win friends with salad. Overall, 110% recommend both locals and tourists to come to Victoria's last all you can eat pizza hut for a new experience, nostalgic experience or a good experience.

Visiting Pizza Hut Ballarat is like visiting an outdated adult film set, the initial excitement is pretty cool - for the first 10 minutes your there. But after a short time you feel a bit dirty and your hands are getting stickier by the minute. This place is so old and run down it looks like not even $1 has been spent maintaining it over the past 20 years. But I did get to sit in the same chair as Wolverine once did. The pizzas are quite average compared to any competitors with minimal toppings and loaded with mostly dough and over sauced. No pasta so a 20% discount currently applies. $5 extra for soft drinks is a bit rich considering the run down decor and food quality. Unless you absolutely love the Pizza Hut all you can eat experience noting the above - I’d keep driving. Garlic bread is awesome (look up La Famiglia Garlic Slices and pan fry them both sides yum).

Attended the Ballarat all you can eat today with another family, spent around $120 (inclusive of a 15% Sunday surcharge) for a family of 4 (two adults and two children) we attended at 4 pm just as the dinner service commenced, we arrived as the first customers.

As we walked in we found pizza and pasta was still left in warmers from the lunch service which was confirmed ended at 2.30pm, we were told to do not eat as it needed to be removed.

The salad bar was filthy and chocolate mousse had looked like it had been smashed around, our question was why had not the old lunch service food been removed after 1.5 hours when they had no one one in the dining room?

We also note that the drink machines were empty with the raspberry Fanta came out as soda water and the toilets had no soaps to even wash your hands.

Lets talk about the desert bar, well to be honest there was no desert, the ice cream machine was more like the perfect place for a salmonella outbreak, ice cream had not cooled and it was like milk coming out, when we asked a staff member, a very ungroomed, unshaven long haired man he said due to the heat it is softer, I call bull crap as why doesn't the macccas or hungry jacks machines do the same thing when its a warm day!

Lets talk about the dinnerware OMG it was disgusting, plates were stained yellow and had been worn so badly that you weren't sure if it were stains or food was not washed properly, we had to play lucky dip to find a plate without a stain on it.

We approached the lovely young lady (blonde haired young girl who was absolutely a superstar who was apologetic) to get the manager, we provided the feed back when another lady with two children requested a refund due to the same reasons we mentioned, we then also requested even a partial refund as for most did not have any deserts that were edible, the manager refused!! he tells us to contact head office if we wished to get. refund when their website actually states to contact the store directly. so now we have 3 families requesting refunds and they were refused, we advised we would take it further and we left.

I then returned to the store after realising I had not been provided with a receipt as we paid cash so I returned in store to request this, as I entered there we go again another 2 families requesting refunds, this is now 5 very unsatisfied families who all agreed would take this further! I hope that any Ballarat locals reading this can please warn others of the disgust that we all experienced (we are not local to Ballarat!) and share how bad this place is!

So after a beautiful day spent in the Ballarat region it ended up being a very disgusting end to a beautiful day out!

Obviously this will be taken to head office but please serve this as a warning to others to not expect too much from this place!

Have been here many times before but todays experience was one I would never want to experience again, which I wont because we will not be returning again!...

Was in Ballarat for a comp for a hobby, so once dinner time approached a large group of us headed to the novelty that is all you can eat pizza, a luxury not enjoyed in Melbourne. Immediately the vast variety of food was impressive, with a good range of pizzas for all tastes or dietary preferences, although I don't believe there was a vegan or gluten-free pizza available.

The food display consisted of pizzas, garlic bread, chips, pasta with a tomato based sauce and a cream based sauce (I think carbonara), a salad bar, and a large dessert bar. I decided to consume pizzas before going for dessert and thought that was sensible as the chocolate mousse was very rich. Normally I prefer the chicken pizzas from Pizza Hut, however it was difficult to get exactly what you wanted with such a large group eating simultaneously. I will say that at the time of eating, late Saturday evening, pizzas were not replaced too fast, likely due to the store's closing time fast approaching.

Regarding the pizza, I really enjoyed it. All of the pizzas I tried were tasty, and very good quality. A possible downside is that the pizza crusts seem to uniformly be of the traditional (slightly thin) variety which seems to be a bit different to the crusts you get with takeout orders at most pizza huts. The garlic bread here was also different to the normal takeout variety. It was very crispy and seemed thinner than those logs you get wrapped in foil, but I thought it went very well with the meal.

Aside from food, the staff were friendly, and the store was very clean. Overall I would recommend this place.

Also apologies for lack of photos, did not think to take photos at the...
