Beachmere Takeaway — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Well...... finally got to try out the Beachmere take away!!!! Waited long enough and was sooo excited i didn't have to cook and could try this "amazing" place out.... sorry but I am SO UNBELIEVABLY DISSAPOINTED! We got 2 burgers... 2 wraps... $5 chips and asked for a "kids" burger with JUST cheese chicken and bbq sauce on it. Sent our kids down the road to grab it with $50.....turned out to be $45.00 in total and we got maybe 10 chips each....(not exaggerating) not only that but when we called to see why so much as we added it up to be just over $38 from their menu on thier fb page.... we were told the simple "kids" burger was an extra .80c.... dispite taking away the lettuce, onion and tomato and mayo....so a total of $8.00 for a bit of processed chicken...1 slice of cheese and a squirt of bbq sauce. $8.00!!! Add the serious lack of chips and overall quality along with lack of customer service when we called back it was just one big dissapointment.... Really upset and won't ever go there again.... could have gone to kfc... etc etc and gotten 5 times as much for a few dollars extra. Dont waste your time or hard...

When we moved to the general area 2 yrs ago, we decided to go support local business in the area and have never been disappointed with Beachmere Takeaway. The staff are all lovely and have fantastic customer service, the menu has a good variety catering to many dietary requirements, is reasonably priced and there's never too much of a long wait for your meal. I think we've waited for about half hour on one of their busy times but there's an area to sit and wait or just take a walk to the beach while your food is getting prepared. We do have takeaways that are closer to us, have tried them a few times and they have been very ordinary. Nothing we have found has compared to what we get at Beachmere so we will go out of our way to give them our business. Keep up the great work guys as...

Beachmere takeaway serves the best fish & chips I've had in Moreton Bay, the best in Queensland and I can say with honesty, the best I've had in Australia. It doesn't end there, where better to eat the best Fish & Chips if not looking over the bay, the smell of fresh sea air, the sound of waves gently rolling onto the shore and the taste of Fish & Chips that are so good we drive 40 minutes to get them. They always have a selection of fish and if chips aren't your thing, I can recommend the potato scallops as a suitable alternative. There's something on the menu for everyone.
