I have been here before and everything was great. Partner and I thought we would come for lunch because there was no parking at a takeaway we were originally going to. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but ordered my partner’s savoury mince on sour dough toast and an iced coffee. I enquired about the chicken nachos but was told I couldn’t have that because they had no tex mixture left. I wasn’t sure about one of the sandwiches and I was offered toasted sandwiches, so I asked for ham, cheese and tomato and a pineapple frappe but was told there was milk in that, so we agreed on a tropical juice made on iced water. We waited about 15 mins and then an older lady came out and said they were out of savoury mince but would my partner like pulled pork instead. He asked for a small amount. So then we waited another 10 mins or so, and a chicken and green salad sandwich on white bread was brought out to my partner and I was presented with a toasted chicken and avocado sandwich.deciding I was not going to accept this, I went to go inside and another older lady came out with my partners and my order. She took my incorrect order back and by then, my partner had started to eat one of his sandwich’s. She then took his plate of incorrect sandwiches, and went back inside to find the correct recipient for this order. She then brought the same plates out with what looked like only 3 sandwiches on the plate and gave them to two young ladies sitting near us. The same number had been put on both orders, but the other young ladies didn’t have a number tag on their table. I enjoyed my lunch, but my partner was unable to eat much of his due to the pulled pork looking like it had been overheated for a period of time. We left his meal half eaten and decided that in future we will be better off with deep fried food. Very disappointing experience, and they were also heard turning away another customer because they had run out of some food. They are obviously new to this business and they need to get some advice on how to grow their business, because what they are doing at present is...
Read moreMy first experience I had in 2023 wasn’t great, an item was missing from my meal and when I enquired by facebook (it was take-away) the response was “I forgot your corn fritter” (no apology?). I have ordered nachos in the past take-away (once) and they were great, lots of ingredients, including beans. I ordered Nachos today $20 - they come with barely any cheese, a TABLESPOON worth of salsa, sour cream and avocado. I requested more salsa as it just looked so dry and bland and I was so disappointed when I saw what I had just paid $20 for. I was told there was none left, so I assume they also had no cheese left either? They said they could add more avocado or sour cream. If I knew they didn’t have the ingredients for the meal I would have liked to have been told and went elsewhere. It was like eating corn chips and avocado, not nachos at all like the photos on facebook or that I have had previously. This photo is after they added more avocado...
Read moreDropped into Beachmere for a weekend trip, we came in one night for a good hearty dinner, the atmosphere was immediately inviting and cozy and like a a different world. We had pizza which was amazing and since then we have come back for the next two mornings for breakfast because of how much we enjoyed our time and the food. Sweet or savoury breakfast, doesn’t matter it was all amazing and unique in its own way. There’s a good amount of options to choose from, not too many and not too small, prices are good value and staff are the most friendly people I’ve met also the coffee is amazing! Sadly leaving today but will be coming back here for the next trips to come, this place felt like a home away from home and so glad I came across it. Thanks for having us for the few days we were here, you’ve done so great with this place, all the best and see...
