Cold Rock Ice Creamery Victoria Point — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

I had the most horrific experience here last night. Was ignored for ages despite only one other customer and three employees working. Finally was served, took my order and then told with absolute sass, attitude and disgust “our eftpos is broken so if you don’t have cash you can’t eat here” I’m pregnant and suffering severely with hyperemesis so for me to want to eat is a rare treat and all I wanted was cold rock. I left in tears. The way the girl spoke to me was appalling enough that two customers behind me apologized for her behavior! When I returned to the car crying my husband called the store and asked to speak to the manager, only to be told there is no manager, no one was in charge and no one to escalate a concern to. But told to tell them the problem and they’d let their manager know on Monday. I’m sure you can understand our lack of confidence in that occurring! Thankfully my husband is the best and drove me to Cleveland cold rock where they were lovely, friendly, accommodating and went out of their way to just be polite and friendly. From now on will drive the extra 10 minutes to just go there to avoid ever having to be spoken to and judged like I was by 3...

Cold Rock as a product is really good. My daughter decided to treat her dad and myself to Cold Rock this evening and although the ice cream is delicious, the two young ladies behind the counter were not very pleasant at all. The attitude towards ourselves and other customers before and after us, seemed to be that we were an inconvenience to have in the store, we were barely greeted and neither of the ladies smiled or made the experience in store a good one. Name and shame! Went to cold rock at Victoria Point today and my partner and I had to repeat our orders over 5 times each. The girls behind the counter were not paying attention to what we were saying at all, and they got our orders wrong in the end. My partner order a large but the girl did a regular size, i only ordered a regular for myself. Very disappointed with this outcome will never go to this store again.
