Dumpling Huang — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Take note of the first picture. This is an $18.80 meal. The second picture is what I got, the downsized, down and out version. The pork also had a small chunk of fat as a part of it, as you can see. The quality and quantity of this meal is questionable I took the meal back to Huang Dumpling and showed the manager the meal. He apologised a few times and said I'll give you your money back. I asked him if that was the standard. He said yes, the meat cost alot and the salad was hand made. I then directed him to the picture on the front of the cashier and to the meal. He said again that the meat is expensive. I ordered another meal and got the price difference refunded. This business just lost my business. His explanation did not fit the meal.

The food is bloody amazing especially the beef noodle soup with a side of pan fried pork chive dumplings. The bubble tea size is ridiculously large amounting to a total of 1 liter in fluids, they don't chuck massive amounts of ice into them so you get more drink out of each serving. I am one for spicy food and boy do they deliver when you ask for more. Furthermore, Huangs fried rice is also another to try, great portions, just ask for chopped chilies and soy sauce. The shallot pancakes.. i'd give a solid 8/10 great to dip into the aforementioned chopped chilli. I will be ordering more food from this shop if I am ever in need of a succulent Chinese meal.

Delighted to find this lovely authentic asian joint here. Wide range of unique flavoured drinks and the customer service is friendly and helpful. I highly enjoyed the pan-fried pork dumplings - while it sounds like such a simple dish - believe it or not - not all places can make it taste great - and this place just takes it to the next level. The dumpling skin taste fresh with just the right texture of chewiness and the accompanying condiment has just the right chilli level. Pork filling tasted good without the porkiness taste to it. Would highly recommend the home-made noodles with the spicy beef noodles! 👍👍👍Looking forward to...
