Golden Sun Chinese & Vietnamese Restaurant Capalaba — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Phoned up to place a takeaway order at 6pm. The girl on the phone said they were really busy and it won't be ready until 7:10. It's was Mothers day so understandable. Went down at 7:10 to collect. An older blonde lady on the front counter who was incredibly flusted, took my money and said "it's so busy, hopefully it won't be to much longer". There was 3 tables dining in and about 6 people waiting. Over the next hour 4 more people came and we were still waiting. At the 1 hour 20 mark my order was finally called. I approached the counter. The blonde lady kept complaining about how busy it was, she had the order bagged but double checked and discovered it was missing a dish, she claimed someone else had taken and order that wasn't theirs and that's why one dish was missing. So a we finally got our food at 8:30. The lady said "I don't know what to say" I said "me neither but I need to get home and feed my children who should be in bed. Her reply was "well if you don't want to wait for food don't order on mothers day. I've been here since 12". Lady you don't need to worry about me waiting for an order I have paid for wver again, as that was the first and last time I will ever get food from your establishment. So in all a 2.5 hour wait, with 1.5 hours of that sitting on the cold tiles outside the shop front to be abused from the staff for paying for a service....

Bland and horrible, Im so glad I didn't get food poisoning from the crab and sweet corn soup as the crab meat was about to 'turn'.. that strong fishy taste you get just as fish is about to go off!. Myself and my partner started to eat this soup but after tasting the crab meat he ran outside and spat it out. He has worked with seafood for the past 14 years and he knows 'that taste' when something is about to go off. I wasn't sure what he was on about so I tasted it and spat mine out as well. Not only that the soup looked very bland and pale in colour, too much egg white in the soup as well. I could go on about the other dishes we ordered as well, but our main concern was the soup. Their brochure mentions something about a premier chef that cooks there ??? where was he when this was being cooked and served up? We went in tonight to dine in and we asked how she was tonight and her response was “yeah” we then asked if we could have a table and she said have one of those tables over there. And didn’t even look at us. She was rude from the very beginning. Then we hadn’t been served for a while so we thought that we had to order at the till and she told my partner to wait that she was busy and sill get to it if we go sit down. We didn’t even get to say anything she stopped him in his tracks before anything. We had been sitting there for 20 mins before we decided to leave because this women ruined our experience. The utter rudeness on this lady was beyond a joke. We use to order takeaway but we won’t even do that now knowing how rude this it is. She ruins the business with...
