Hammerich's Coffee North Lakes Drive Thru — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

I’ve had coffee at this place a few times and it’s always been good.

It’s not expected that you would receive table service which I didn’t despite me being the only customer in the shop. It was quite clear that I was sitting down to do a little bit of work.

To then see two ladies come in and order and sit down and the young barista serve their coffee to their table was disappointing to see.

I would never expect in a shop like this for someone to bring their coffee to me, but it’s always a nice touch. You can’t just pick and choose who you do it for.

Also a quick tip for the owners. Next time you breeze in for five minutes be careful what you talk about in an open social area. It just looks a bit...

Today we bought 1 smashed avo, 2 hash browns, and 2 ice lattes.

The food is usually very good most of the time hence why we return so often. Today was disappointing when we opened our food from leaving the drive through just before 10am.

The hash browns were extremely soggy, and the smashed avo had very little avo and feta compared to their usual amount given.

The ice caramel latte tasted burnt.

Altho the food did come out very fast, from a customers perspective, it would be more appreciated if the orders were made correctly.

Rude staff! Used to be my go-to coffee place but it only takes one off time to stop going somewhere. Drive thru order and we wanted drinks and hot food, the girl poorly explained that they weren’t doing hot food at the moment, which is fine. Anyways, my boyfriend asks just to reaffirm that we couldn’t order a spinach and feta roll and we were met with a sassy remark. “You can have it cold” there wasn’t any need for it, and on top of that, we could hear all the staff LAUGHING and giggling through the drive thru speaker, we didn’t pay and drove off.
