Hands down the worst eat in experience I've ever had... Booked table with my children and mother. We ordered a chicken ceaser salad, Mable syrup burger, big kahuna, junior burger kids meal, loaded fries and beverages. Although the restaurant was empty the kitchen seemed overwhelmed with food delivery services it was approximately 20 minutes for the junior meal and big Kahuna burger to arrive then it was about another 20 minutes till the ceaser salad, loaded fries and maple syrup burger to arrive. With in this forty minutes waiting for order to be completed I witnessed along with my children the cook turning raw beef patties with her bare hands while yelling loudly as she constantly burnt her fingers. The cook at high volume constantly yelled orders at the two other staff members in a nasty manner creating utter chaos. The burgers were average and I was also reluctant to eat after also witnessing the cook sniff test the cheese slices before placing on burger. The meal was constructed by 3 sets of ungloved hands while these hands were performing other duties cash register and table clearing included and yes the tables are that sticky if you drop the menus on them they are near impossible to pick up. I will never be back and if you order online please eat in at least once before you order again. I was astonished and completely taken back by the cooks methods and behavior..... Thanks for your reply Cameron I was very aware of the situation.... having a new cook and counter staff on reassures me it's not your customer that is the problem. You have an open kitchen to your customers so hygiene us on show yes? I couldn't even leave quietly without unwanted apoligy outbursts. Please don't treat your customers like they...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place. After hearing and reading so many positive reviews, I gave it multiple chances — but unfortunately, I’ve had more negative than positive experiences.
The first time I ordered a gluten free burger and thought all was fine, until I became sick shortly after. I brushed it off until my second visit, when I ordered the same thing and noticed that my first order may not have actually been the gluten free version, which planted serious doubts.
Wanting to be more cautious, I decided to call ahead before my next visit to ask about their approach to cross contamination and allergy safety. I was met with a rude and dismissive tone. The staff member on the phone told me the cross contamination “must be fine because the restaurant is still in business,” which was very off-putting. I clarified and asked about things like a separate fryer, but the same unhelpful attitude continued — they told me the separate fryer wasn’t in use due to issues with it.
Despite these concerns, I gave it one more try. I called again to check if the fryer was back in use and was told it was. When I then mentioned my gluten allergy, I was informed it actually wasn’t safe for me to order because the fryer had already been exposed to gluten late in the week.
This left me seriously questioning whether the staff are properly trained in allergy safety and cross contamination — especially since the separate fryer, which should be kept safe for those with allergies, was knowingly compromised.
I no longer feel safe ordering from here, and I hope the restaurant takes the time to improve their allergy protocols and train staff accordingly. For now, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with coeliac disease or...
Read moreLet me share with you the most incredible dining experience my wife and I had here. Intrigued by a bouquet of tantalising aromas, wafting across the walkway. My wife and I thought “if this tastes as good as it smells then are we in for a treat!” And let me tell you, Hello Harry did not disappoint. While signing in we were not only warmly greeted by the manger but the head chef came out and ran us through the menu. With a touch of humour thrown in he told us how all the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, most of the food is GF and about the how their beef patties are made. After ordering it wasn’t long before our food was brought out. Now the southern fried chicken burger I had was to die for. The perfect mix of succulent chicken mixed, fresh chunchy slaw and aioli, i would honestly have to say it was the best burger I have had in 20 years! But it didn’t stand alone, the side of chips we ordered were bliss. Perfectly cooked with crispy shallots sprinkled on top. if all you bought here was a plate of those, you could die happy. All of this was washed down by their larger made for a perfect lunch. I honestly couldn’t fault this place. Excellent customer service and I’m talking the type that makes want them to come to you next BBQ customer service. The food is unforgettable and will even bring up memories of “that one burger place that blew your mind as a kid but can’t remember it’s name” All I can say is give this place a shot and you won’t be...
