Baskin Robbins, where donuts are a myth and customer service is on airplane mode đŠđ´
Ordered Baskin Robbins delivery at 7:30pm because nothing screams self-care like ice cream and donuts. Especially when thereâs a 2-for-1 donut sale, right? WRONG.
At 8:05pm, the Uber driver arrives at Baskin Robbins only to be told âWe donât do donuts.â Bold of them to list donuts and a donut deal on the website like itâs some kind of dessert mirage. I mean, were the donuts imaginary? Existential? Were they conceptual art?
Enter Isabella, a Baskin Robbins employee who commandeers the driverâs phone like sheâs in a hostage negotiation. She sends me a text asking if I want to replace the donuts with something else or cancel.
Cool. I respond-within two minutes-trying to pick something else to replace my non-existent, mythical donuts. Before I can hit send... she cancels the entire order. No warning. No follow-up. Just â¨Cancelledâ¨
I try calling the store to ask what just happened. The number goes straight to voicemail. Turns out itâs a mobile number thatâs switched off. Because of course it is. Apparently the customer service line shares a SIM card with a Nokia from 2007.
Anyway, shoutout to Isabella for the abrupt breakup text via Uber Eats. And shoutout to Baskin Robbins for turning dessert into an episode of Black Mirror.

Read moreThis is literally the first time in my life Iâve ever left a negative review about staff, but what I witnessed here was impossible to ignore. One poor guy was actually trying to do his job, while the other two turned the shop into a high school playground. ⢠One dude in a Nirvana t-shirt with long, messy hair looked like he had no idea why he was even behind an ice cream counter, and spent most of his time handing out free ice cream to his friends. ⢠Meanwhile, a blonde at the counter thought it was perfectly fine to chat with her friends for over 20 minutes, without saying hello or paying the slightest bit of attention to the customers waiting.
The result: disastrous experience, zero professionalism, zero respect for customers, and an atmosphere that felt like anything but a place of business. The company seriously needs to take a look at who theyâre hiring, because with staff like this, theyâre driving...
Read moreWe went to the Morayfield QLD store on Sunday 11/4/21 and received terrible service from the moment we stepped inside. The girl who was serving seemed to care less about her job, there was not enough correct sized containers for our order meaning we upsize and then she did not fill ANY of our take home containers anywhere near full. We then told there was no bags apart from Uber ones available so we had to pick up the 4 take home packs with ice cream spilt down each one and smile politely and leave !! $70 dollars for poor attitude, poor service, less than minimum product really not worth it. We will never return or recommended this store to anyone, this was...
