I ordered 4 burgers and 1 chips (2 seperate orders) get handed a bag and no words, so i asked them at pick up window "are these both orders in the bag?" Guy replies "i dont know" so i proceed to ask again "are both orders in this bag?" He then replies "i dont know" again. there was only 3 burgers in the bag, so I told them which burgers were in the bag and burger that was missing, they didn't seem to understand, so I told them again which burger was missing. They then understood and gave me a completely cold/frozen jacks fried chicken parmy burger. I then started driving off and felt that the burger patty they missed was completely cold (from outside the paper bag). So stopped the car and got out and went back to the window and asked "why is my burger freezing cold?" The bloke at window said "I don't know I didn't make it" i then asked the lady "why is my burger freezing cold? I could feel it outside of the paper bag that it was cold?" And she said "i'll get it fixed". I then got a hot one. What is wrong with your staff? They seem to be completely incapable of basic customer service and safe food service. How can a frozen burger 'accidentally' be given to someone? It's literally impossible because the person making it would have felt it before putting it together. The parmy burger tasted good for almost the first half, then tasted not right and made me start throwing up which I have never done before. 14.09.25 7:30-8:00pm please sort out your staff working then. If I took a bite and got sick of that cold burger without feeling it, you could have...
Read moreThe worst experience ever, 0 stars.... Friday 22 April. Arrived at drive thru at 7.02pm, waiting 4mins behind another car before i gave up and tried to reverse out but another came behind me and blocked me. It was another 12 mins (yep 12mins) inching forward to speaker box before someone took my order. Then it was another 14mins stuck in drive thru with 6 cars ahead of me not moving, where we were all turning cars off while stationary to move forward every few minutes. Finally arrive at window where young girl confirms my order, it was wrong and when i corrected her i then gave up and told her not to worry i'll take the meals as is i'm not waiting any longer. She then unapologetically pushed 2 drinks in a cup tray out the window at my car only to spill drink all over me before i took the cups, at that point i realise drinks were warm, when i rejected the cups she says "sorry, we have no ice". Bemused, i took them and she then gave me the bag with meals (the wrong meals). Driving out the drive through, i stuck my hand in the bag for a chip and i find all of the food is cold so obviously it has sat at window for 26mins. Well HJ's, you've wasted my time and my $30 now as we cant drink hot cola syrup or eat cold meals that could now be contaminated sitting there cold and i've had to throw it all out. Tried to call the restaurant to complin and no-one answering. Why on earth, staff wouldn't say at the speaker box there is no cold drinks so that we didnt order meals is beyond me. Terrible service and never again, thanks so much....

Ordered from HJ’s a few times over Uber Eats during the night. Usually it’s desserts and chips. Every Uber that’s come to our house has had a bag with missing items; or someone else’s order.
Tonight was it, the male Manager on duty tonight picked up when we called. His tone was rude and didn’t seem interested in our ice-cream-less crisis.
He stated he would loose money if they re-made our order for pickup. Understandable. But he should at least be more professional; or you know. Not trying to sound like he was brushing us off. He didn’t even bother to figure out who gave the drivers the orders.
Another thing, we ordered on Uber Eats; the bag we were given had DoorDash on it. Unforgivable. All I really needed tonight was for my order to be right, and neither company’s could do this.
On the note of the DoorDash driver, he was quick to give us our order then quick to try and drive off. I always check my bags before they leave but this guy seemed suspicious. He was a nice guy. But I knew what was going on.
My siblings, confused and excited for ice cream waited for me as I spoke with the driver; but with no luck. He insisted I keep this other guys order. Very professional.
Main point of the story… The employee at HJ’s did not check with the “Uber” Driver, and the “Uber” Driver did not check the Receipt. Both are at fault. What do you guys think?
If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible and...
