Attended in person and placed an order to take away. Was told it would be 20 minutes.
Sat outside on the restaurant’s own seating to wait. 3 other people arrived and picked up obviously pre-ordered meals, with the staff pulling the orders out of a series of eskies.
A dine in couple arrived and sat by us, outside. Staff came and took their order and then served their meals.
At this stage, I went back inside to enquire of my meal, as it had now been 50 minutes.
It was pulled from an Eskie. When I asked why they hadn’t brought it out, I was told “we told you 20 minutes, you need to collect”. It fell on deaf ears that I was seated AT THE RESTAURANT ready to collect.
I asked for the meal to be heated, they were reluctant, feeling the side of the boxes and stating “it’s still warm”. When I informed them safe food handling and hygiene requires the meal to be 65 degrees and to produce a thermometer, they took it to reheat.
An hour and 10 minutes later, they had the check to think my meal would not be discounted.

However, a problem that has arisen in the last few months is that every time we call a lady answers the phone and we have to repeat our order back to her about 10 times. She can hardly understand english/speak it and has barely any comprehension of what you're ordering. Last time our order was wrong because of this and I expect tonights to be as well. Its so bad that she just ends up talking over the top of you, yelling your order back at you - which is usually wrong. This never used to happen, our orders never used to be wrong and they had someone on the phone that could understand english clearly. A step up in customer service and english speaking is needed in order to ensure that customers are not being overcharged or given the wrong thing. Read moreOrdered for a take away of a set of nan, rice, curry and a can of drink. There was a 25-30 minutes waiting time and when I reached back they give me a parcel says your order is ready. When we reached home can of drink is missing. I call and asked where it is, the lady on the phone reply surprised me, she told very rude and loud that "it your 'job' to get into the fridge and get the drink, if you didn't take it its your fault" I asked that is it your responsibility to tell the customers that please take the can of drink from the fridge. She saying that she is not suppose to tell that to customers. How can a customer get it their fridge without their permission??? She was not even ready to apologize and hang up the phone saying "you do what you can, give a bad review - we don't care" Please avoid this restaurant, food is not good, service is really bad, very rude...
