The Family Bakery Bribie Island — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Went to the family bakery and pizza shop near the IGA and had one of the worst retail experiences I've ever encountered, my mother and I went to buy two loaves of bread that on the stand we picked them from said $5.50 a loaf. The man behind the counter said that wasnt the price it was $6 each And to read the sign. It wasnt visable from where you walked into the shopping centre or walking out of it. He then became quite abusive throwing swear words out and telling us how dumb are we not being able to see a sign. I'm close to 6 foot myself and if I didn't raise my eyes and really look for it I wouldnt of seen it. He said there was a public holiday surcharge but it was a Easter saturday so no holiday at all and that used to be the go to shop for bakery items. No longer. I’ve been to this bakery a couple of times on a Sunday being told they are the only bakery on the island to bake their own bread but those 2 times the rolls are never fresh they have been hard and really can only be eaten toasted. Today purchased a doughnut style cream bun. A again doughnut not fresh and the cream/custard had a hint of sourness. In future I’ll wait until Woolies opens and get fresh bread and buns...

Would go to a bakery run by the stingiest Asian than come here again (we all know how long they’ll keep onto a product before they throw it out) nothing fresh rolls are burnt, cream taste sour/off unfriendly staff and very unhygienic place.
