I’ve been a loyal customer since the Mango Hill store opened many many years ago. I‘ve always been complimentary towards staff. Whether individually, or when service was particularly excellent, I would often tell the manager directly. For many years, the staff were lovely, took pride in the quality of their work and were incredibly efficient. They clearly worked well as a team and had peak times down to a T. The prices are now very expensive. Although the prices seemed to rise constantly over the last 4 years, I was happy to pay for something I really enjoyed and felt was worth it. It was our regular destination to gather with family or friends for a delicious coffee and great service. However, I don’t know what on earth has happened in the last 6+ months, but the service and quality has taken and absolute dive to very poor. With constant.. constant mistakes, even when you take the time to be polite and clear with your order because you’re tired of the mistakes and don’t want to waste your money. The unacceptable quality and little to no care in providing basic service or products. The wait times now, no matter the time of day or night is baffling. After giving the benefit of the doubt and repeated chances over the last 6+ months. I and many of my family, refuse to go there anymore. With the cost of living going through the roof, I can longer justify the cost just to receive poor service and poor quality. Beverage after beverage an absolute waste of money destined for the bin. Read moreNormally the mango hill store has been my go to coffee place! I had an experience on the 29th of October which involved one of the male staff members. Previously I have ordered the mocha cold fusion because I love the frappé consistency, but because I can’t have coffee anymore I asked to have the mocha fusion without the coffee in it. The staff member was speaking to me poorly and gave me a lot of attitude saying “so you want the chocolate crème fusion…” pretty much educating me that they can’t do a mocha cold fusion without the coffee and that I had to get the one with the ice cream with it. I have had the crème fusion in the past but it’s definitely not for me as I’m not a fan of all the dairy in it. I thought he got my order correct until he yelled saying the chocolate crème fusion. I was really disappointed so I ended up taking it because i know it’s just an order but if I’m spending money I’d love to get the drink that I asked for. I came another time after but I felt like I had to get a mocha crème fusion with the decaf in it because my request seemed impossible. Read moreTotal disappointment during my last visit. I was being served my coffee by a staff member named Nick in the new sippy cups and when I started asking for a straw he just walked off. I felt disappointed, but thinking the best of him, I assumed he was too busy to give me a straw so obtained one myself and began to leave. At which point Nick began chastising me like a child for taking a straw. I mentioned that the only reason I helped myself to a straw was because he was rude in the first place by walking off. I then began leaving again and he yelled at me to have a nice day in a sarcastic and belittling manner in front of other customers and staff. I felt embarrassed and bullied for doing something which I thought was helping him. I buy at least two coffees a day from these guys and have done so for years, but have never experienced such poor customer service.
