Belvedere Pizzeria Ristorante — Restaurant in Griffith City Council

Ok i lived in Griffith all my life an Belvedere has always been at the top of my list , as for meals an pizzas , they were legendary, but i went ther the other nite for a birthday dinner. An at least we got seating rite away , an then we ordered firstly garlic bread an a Toppa to start with , 15 min later it comes out , then not even 2 min later our main meals come out , 😣 , so by time we got to our main it wasnt nice an hot , an we ordered a large Belvedere pizza which has been a fav for years , BuT i hate sayin this the pizza Base was thinner then the toppa we got ,, an its not the first time , an i may sound like a old man but the amout of Noise in side , like loud voices Echoing through, an was only half full at the time , anyways stil would...

We visited Belvedere few times over the years. Food is always fresh and tasty. We like it a lot. Unfortunately, service is getting worse with years. During our recent visit we were ignored for some time waiting to be seated. Wines in menu are different to what was actually in stock. The hostess recommended one local wine which is not in the list, but brought a different one. Getting the bill, we found that we were over-charged by $5.00 for the side, which is, according to the menu, included in the base price. When we pointed out to it, the hostess said it is not her business and system works that way. Only involvement of the manager helped to resolved the issue. We visited Griffith in early Jan so a lot of restaurants were closed. Happy that this one was open as we really enjoyed our meal. Service was attentive and helpful. We had a couple of jumbo pizzas, salad and chips which was plenty for the 5 of us. Good that they do half half pizzas too so we could try a wider range. Kids had Margherita and Hawaiian, adults had a couple of the veggie pizza toppings. Thin and crispy style with not too much toppings and cheese, which is how we prefer our pizzas.
