Giuseppe's Restaurant & Bar Griffith — Restaurant in Griffith City Council

Fifth and last visit at this restaurant. Had really enjoyed previous dinning experiences and food. I had invited guests travelling from overseas to join us here. Service on this occasion was subpar and on reflection the service staff seem to be training at each visit. The wait time for service was very slow we had to go in twice to order rounds of drinks. 3/5 meals were over cooked. One guest had ordered a medium rare steak, at first bite he mentioned it was over cooked to us but didn’t want to cause a fuss.. after a few more bites he wasn’t pleased, said it was too tough and kindly advised one of the waitresses if they could advise the chef. She went back to the kitchen and said they wouldn’t do anything about it after talking to their manager as they believed it was cooked medium rare. I said we were not happy with that outcome and that we’ve come here previously and had exceptional meals, that the salmon ordered for two guests was also over cooked and firm but we didn’t want to say anything as we were trying to enjoy our evening and had been waiting for service/food already as it was. We have spent around $2000 between meals and drinks on all visits and would have returned had the situation been handled differently. After requesting the check and stating we wanted to pay by card no one returned, 5- 6 different members of staff served us throughout a 1.5 hour seating. They sent a young girl out to tell us who was visibly nervous explaining they couldn’t do anything, not one senior member of staff offered further explanation after we said we were not happy with this. I have recommended this restaurant to our employees who are in the area for an extended period of the year and will not be doing so going forward and future earnings lost because the chef wouldn’t accept the steak was not cooked correctly...

Ordered the 3 foot pizza which I wrongly assumed to be 3 foot in diameter. I had high expectations of my girlfriend struggling through the door carrying a huge pizza box. These hopes were soon dashed when she cane carrying three separate boxes.

On opening our hopes and our appetites were killed off further. Pizzas weren’t even round, they were square. I got one with anchovies but it smelt like someone had sprinkled fish food on top and it tasted like it too. The caprice was so bland it wasn’t much competition. All pizzas were greasy and there was no quality or finesse about them at all.

Not trying to slam the place, they were very nice on the phone and had a lovely glass door but they are very misleading with their gigantic one metre pizza, which should really read: three below average square flatbreads dripping with grease, for 55 dollars.

Haven’t tried their other food so won’t comment. Just don’t be mislead by big words such as ‘gigantic’ or...

Was really disappointed for being a regular customer always ordering every second week.

We ordered Mexican pizza, the base was to thick, undercooked, topping where missing.

So I decided to call them, I told them that the pizza was not write so the girl put me through to the kitchen and the chef said they would send another one.

So we waited 30mins, 40 mins, 1hr. So I thought I better call them.

So I called, a girl answered, she said they won't be sending the pizza any more. I said I still have pizza sitting on the table, only one slice missing, because only realised after I took my first bite.

So they hang up on me. So I called again, didn't pick up. Called again still didn't pick up.

Then I get call, it was someone for the kitchen telling me that he had started making it but someone higher up stopped him.

So I just wanted to say, I was really disappointed how this was handled. I'm paying good money to get what I ordered.

I won't be going back...
