We stopped in for the $20 parmy special on a Tuesday and were not disappointed in the food at all. It was fresh, hot, great portion size and arrived in a good amount of time (long enough to know it had been made properly but not too long that it's been sitting around). It came with a good helping of fries and a nicely dressed salad with pickled onions and sundried tomatoes. We ordered the mac and cheese for our 2.5yr old and it was good but I do wish they had said that it would come with a jelly pot and freddo frog as I would have intercepted...once she had seen that it was game over for the mac and cheese of course!! Still, great value for the kids meal and it also came with a juice box which we weren't expecting. The only let down was the service was just a bit...flat. Not terrible and certainly not bad enough to avoid going back but no one seemed in a good mood and it just felt a bit low. Maybe we went at a funny time where people were changing shifts and stuff, we eat early because of the kids, but yeah...just a bit flat. Only other point to mention is that the outside area (which is definitely the nicer spot for late afternoon eats) can be quite smoky. I wish they wouldn't let people smoke in the beer garden but it's just the way it is I suppose. We will definitely go back and 100% would recommend the parmy but would try not to sit too close to smokers and will ask for the kids meal not to have the jelly and frog until after she has finished the food part of it 😂

Food was a bit of a let down unless you ordered steak which was nice. My "pasta of the day" was really tasteless sadly, cream hadn't been reduced or flavoured, couldn't finish it even though I bought the small size. Orders I noticed were stuffed up not just on our table but a few around us. $7 for a 'side' of onion rings gives you two super fatty overly battered rings. See photo. We added garlic prawns and squid to one of the steaks and that arrived at the table in a bowl by itself WITHOUT the steak which came 15 minutes later! At the ten minute mark we sent the seafood back to be kept warm but they didn't return it with the steak! Very funny. Seemed simple but obviously not LOL Tried to order a nice bottle of bubbles as it was a special occasion but they were out of everything but the cheap stuff. Good way to save money I suppose... But, I always like to say something nice... The venue was large, lovely atmosphere and the staff were really friendly even though they were under the pump. Keep trying!

The Stirling Arms is a comfortable place to go to catch up with friends and / or have a pub meal or pizza. It is my favourite 'local' in the area. They have a good range of drinks, and the beer garden is great with a giant screen to watch games. There is always an interesting event on to suit a wide range of interests from live musicians, themed quiz nights, performances (e.g. Faulty Towers Dinner Experience) and competitions. There are a lot of pubs/hotels in the area such as The Guildford, the Woodbridge and the Rose and Crown, but I keep ending up at the Stirling Arms as I enjoy my experience there every time, where the others have their frustrations. At the Stirling Arms, the staff are really friendly and helpful and attempt to serve you quickly. The reward/ loyalty program is worthwhile and generous. Another huge benefit is that there is ample and easy to access parking I hope this helps.

It’s my first time here. Super easy to find. All staff members have been very polite and friendly. As soon as I walked up stairs to my room I saw a book on the hotel history. Totally loved it. Made me feel like they were proud of the building. I really liked that (I’m 34) as soon as I opened the day I knew I got more for my money than I could imagine ( am in room 3) it’s so beautiful on the inside. Loved the simple yet wonderful decor. From paint colours to curtain choice. It all works. Then the bathroom OMG I’m so designing our one at home like this. Loved the raw brick walls. It brought a historic look into an upscale bathroom. Then dinner. What can I say. (Lamb shanks) it was amazing. Loved the fact they used real mash potato. It made me feel like a someone not just a income like fake mash can do. The carrots with honey, the way the meat came off the bone and not like it’s been over cooked and falling off. It was palatable. It’s Luke a home cooked great meal made with love. And not the harsh love the affectionate love. And they had Matsos on tap. Then as iv gone up to my room to get some sleep they have a ray of pillows to choose from. Thin, mediums and puffy. I loved that they thought of different people with different requirements and let you decide. And so close to the airport. I think I found my new fly out hotel to stay in before I fly out to work each roster. I can not fault this place. And so greatly priced. Thankyou to everyone at the hotel. I’m a very happy and now returning customer. Great job. Highly...
