I recently had the pleasure of trying Pork Shogayaki Zen & Co., and it was an absolute delight. The dish had a perfect balance of flavors that left a lasting impression. The thinly sliced pork was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. Each bite was a burst of savory goodness, and it practically melted in my mouth definitely one of my favorites. The Yakiudon I enjoyed was a perfect example of the versatility this dish offers. It featured tender pieces of chicken, colorful stir-fried vegetables, and thick, chewy udon noodles. Note there are other choices of protein like pork and beef or you can just order the plain one with vegetables. The combination of ingredients made for a well-balanced meal that satisfied both my palate and my appetite. One of the best bento boxes in town. Surprised to find such great quality in a food court (hence only 4 stars for atmosphere but you get food court prices which is a bonus). Generous serving, generous amount of the sides like the pickled ginger and the edamame. It had a ball of mashed potato with vege bits stirred through it, which was really nice and something a bit out of the ordinary for a bento box in Perth. I wanted some Japanese food today & saw that there was a Japanese place that has recently opened in Westfield Whitford. I ordered the pork katsu kare and absolutely LOVED it. It had the most perfect crisp on the outside & the meat was so juicy on the inside. The kare was savory and was the perfect complement to the rice and katsu.
